Build looks awesome!! I've thoroughly enjoyed following along. Two obscure questions: did you ever mention what Dalamar means or where it came from? Second what do you think of the drive on lift versus the two screw lift types that swing out? Just curious! Thanks!

      hahah, thanks Sparky,

      Thanks Stephen,
It's just my screen name, read it in a book long time ago and liked it.
I like the drive on lift better. at times it can be a bit in the way, but with the jacking rails it's no biggie. Wish I had a higher ceiling.

      Update pics:

Time to get rolling on the sub frame for the front end.
Also want to do a forward hinge on the hood. no idea how, yet.

That mustang is going to be bad ass! I noticed a member on here named Ron did a forward hinge on his 1966 mustang fastback. His thread is about his $5,000 budget pro touring mustang and if you find it you can find the forward hinge and maybe get an idea on how to do yours.

if you are interested in a forward hinge, also look at the late 80's/early 90's pontiac bonneville & some of the bmw's had them too. might get some good design ideas or maybe even graft an assembly in from a donor.

Good idea, thanks for the suggestion.

Been messing with these fenders all morning, Think i'm going to look for some origional tooling fenders, these imports just don't line up to well, and are a little on the thin side....

My dad sorda dented in the bottom of the pan, no idea how -- so I pulled it off, straightened & reassembled. while off I noticed the front main is painted blue. That MUST be for more ford power?! :P

Hey guys, what the heck!! sorry for the lag, it's been one crazy um, 10 months.
Thank you for all the positive posts.

We Got some parts for this thing-that-sits-for-months-on-end.
      Thats gonna change

      So, update:
Headers, I had that header that we chopped redid and got screwed up by my dad's welding...
tried to get it redone here locally, it sat at an exhaust guys' shop for about 3 months. Didn't get to it....
Priced it out 3 ways sideways, and custom hedders are just too expensive. So I went shorties:

(a few pages back, someone suggested going shorties - you sir, were correct!)

      --This work Chunger?

      Pretty nice hedder IMO.

Finally got around to getting the correct front fenders from CJP.
They accidentally sent out 69 fenders and were great about swapping them with the right ones.

These are dynacorn to go with the doors and hood

      More soon.
