Great build. You should really check this out for mounting the shifter.

This will solid mount the shifter to the transmission make the the remote solid mounted like a T-56.

Thanks for the suggestion GTOtzel, if I had a manual, that looks to be a good addition.

Didn't pay enough attention...Thought you were running an MT-82 Manual 6 speed.

So we got this thing in the car.

Here you can see the motor mounts are right where the suspension and Kmember brace are mounted, width wise.
We looked at it a few ways and filled out and cut back the motor mounts about 2" to fit inside the frame.

this puts the mounts (fluid filled) in about this far compared to the stock mounting position. I love how the headers are above and very easy to get to.

Also wrapped the headers while they were off with DEI's Titanium mesh.
It goes on easy and turned out nice.

fitment was all good except the collectors were a bit wide, pulled to motor to notch the frame and do a lil welding.

And back in. Fitment is great!

I picked up this power steering accessory kit for the Coyote.

Installation wasn't too bad. getting the pulley on the pump shaft was the biggest pain.

      Finally got to the steering.
It's a tight fit but it turned out pretty good.

On the rack we had to move it to the right to clear the mounts, and rotated it on the same axis to aim the input shaft back a bit.
      Turned out like so:

My dad and I are both 6' - 6" tall, we raised up the dash in this car for clearance.
The last few weekends i reworked the floor pan to get the seats as low and far back as possible.
These are the 2012 mustang seats. Going to recover the fronts after the body work is done.

Here's where I'm at to date:

Great progress. You're at the fun stage. We cranked the coyote in the truck last week.
