      Thanks MSTSFabbed,

Here's a lil more progress from this weekend:

Pulled out my 96 - she doesn't get the attention she wants

Time to test the fit with the new shorties:

      CLOSE, BUT NOT QUITE>
Here it is with the steering linkage as is, it's about 3/4" too close to the collector...

with the engine all the way down:

Looks like we've got 2 options,
1- add a third steering joint and come off the frame with a support, or
2- figure out if we can shorten the input shaft on the R&P.

Got some checking to do on that, once that's done, the steering and front suspension will be finito!

Test fitting the Dynacorn front fenders

All in all, much better fit than the other fenders we had.

Time to get started on framing in the front end!!

Got the steering figured out, parts on order.

Spent a few hrs on it Yesterday on the front end. Kicking around transplating the HL's and grill from an 05 and grill into this.
I think it would go good on this build.

well i'm still meessing with the steering parts, need a few more tidbits.

Did pull the pan and look it over, changed the gasket. I was not feeling warm and fuzzy about the cork gasket that came with the pan, so I changed it out with a vulcanized gasket and used that new Right Stuff permatex makes. I like it.

      Here's a few pics because i'm bored.

Check this out - on the crappy gasket, there was oil on the outside of the trough, and the motor is just sitting on the stand.....
      Glad I redid this....

Also messed with the canton dipstick. came as a straight tube, I bent it 800 times to get it to go around the exhaust like so.
The stick won't make the turns so I gotta check with them about a braided stick, or different option.

Little update, decided to cut the shaft down on the rack. had to take it to a machine shop to get a new roll pin hole drilled in the hardened center. also ordered a flexable dipstick tube.

Nice progress. I didn't realize that Sanderson made shorty cleveland headers. Were these a custom build?

Glad the Shorty headers worked out for you.. . the other things that's happened to me, that canton oil pan's coating has corroded while building the car, found out that has happened to a log of people, you might want to get it powder coated; I'[m having mine ceramic coated like the headers.

Little bending them in the vice and hammered them on the bench to match the fender curve. they're not perfect but close enough for fitment.

No, they were listed in their product line. They fit the 4 barrel or 2 barrel (with the copper gasket)

Few update pictures from last week:

      Canton flexable tube:

Need offset fitting, think a 15 degree will do the trick, pick up one tomorrow.

Trimmed the gaskets to fit better around the plug area:

trimmed the mounts on the end of the dash.

Check out how much wiring was inside the SN95 dash

Started messing with the side scoops:

      possibilities are definitely wide open.

On the steering I have the joints I need, having to get a new end shaft on the rack machined...

      here's a fun addition.
Got a bluetooth radio for garage tunes, needed a good place to put it so I built this shelf
