That engine is going to look really nice! Pontiac blue on the bottom and all aluminum on top. In addition you are going to loose about a 100 pounds off the front end, give or take a few pounds.

      What compression are you running?

Great progress on the firewall! That will set off the engine compartment with it all smooth. Are you going to paint it the same color as the body?

think the engine shop said 10:1 on the compression due to the heads

well we are thinking gloss black for now may change once we actually paint the car but we will see

      Major Update

      well some bad news

      1. Crack pulley is cracked and has to be replaced (there is supposed to be a ring in which the bolts are tighten down on but it was missing so the previous person did in on the pulley and cracked it) upgrading to billet

      2. Valley Pan rusted up a bit and has holes will be ordering a new one

      3. Flywheel has cracks might be ok to use for now but will start a search

      4. My old Edlebrock PB4 intake WILL NOT FIT the new Edlebrock Performer RPM heads grr so ordered a new Preformer RPM Intake

Heads look sweet CodeRed. I think you will find the Performer RPM a better manifold. You want to be able to rev that Poncho closer to 5800-6000. The RPM will work way better than the P4B in that range.
The P4B is pretty much a lower-end (poorer cousin) to the Perfomer. Once you see the new one, you will be glad you went that route. I am going to either run my other (race) engine with the Performer RPM (altogether) on my '72, or replace the current P4B on the cars original motor with a new Performer RPM.

      Looking good!
