The car is looking good. I built an underslung chassis for a 35 Ford pickup a few years back and it really worked out quite well.

Leave the long torque arm. The longer it is, the less likely it will be to brake hop. I say brake hop but its the violent downshifts that really do it. When that happens, sometimes the only thing you can do is throttle out of it.....kind of the last thing you want to do when you are trying to slow down.

      Keep up the inspiring work.

      Picture.

I agree, I love that picture.
Would be a blast to drive it like that, slap some sheet metal on the sides and the front, plexiglass windshield on the cage and go open wheel racing.

It's just so cool that this car that looks for all intents and purpose like a race car with shell off is being built for both street and track duties. You rule Ron.

What is the removable bar in the middle in the picture below, is that your transmission crossmember?

Did the guy TIG weld the cage? The welds are immaculate! The chassis and cage fabrication is top notch.

Yes the center is the transmission crossmember, so it has to be removable. There is an X that goes between the trans crossmember and the rear crossmember, but it can't go in until I put the trans crossmember where it belongs. I've always considered myself a pretty decent welder, but I think Dominic at DC Perfrmance could teach me a few things about tigging tubing, the welds are a work of art. Its taken me alot of years to learn that you can't beat a man at his trade.

I hope Bella got the 3 degrees in that cam like I told her to. It pays to surround yourself with a good crew, and they work for Barbies.

They are Franks two little girls, and they are cute. He has a son too, but he is usually swinging a hammer, so Frank doesn't let him near the cars too much. LOL
