Hey guys, I'm near Pgh, PA. During the winter, we get sunny days about as often as we get solar eclipses!

But the snow will add so much more reflective light from below and the backround will be,well WHITE and it will set the color off so much better than green because it matches the interior.

You know you want to. Just roll it out sloooooow and easy and the only thing that will get snow on it will be the tires.
You have to test the engine sooner or later might as well make it sooner.

Heck Jim - I would! Except I've got about a foot of ice blocking the garage door to my shop, and about 6 feet of snow piled on that! I've really got a mess here. Haven't touched the car in 2 weeks. Really, haven't touched the car since I brought it home from the show. Also haven't been able to install the 2 post lift set in the shop. I have a relatively low ceiling (and my master bedroom is over the shop) so I got a set of Maxjax. Can't roll the car out for the hour or so it'll take to drill the holes in the concrete and mount the sleeves for the bolts. Everything else is ready. I've got both my 5/8 and 7/8 masonry bits and my hammer drill ready. Crap.

I'm going to try and spend a few hours in the shop this weekend. Probably won't get much done. This winter is killing me. 3 yrs ago I was able to make serious progress building my bike. No issues. Last winter I was able to do anything I need and made great progress. This winter has been awful. The wife has been practically held hostage for the past couple weeks because I can't keep the (looooong) driveway clear and nothing but my Dodge truck can get out. Power outages. Ice. I'm so ready for this to end!

      Update: 14 March...
Well, the MaxJax lift is (finally) installed safely. It's already been a big help. Here are the recent activities....
Finished mounting in the trunk battery tray. Also mounted the remote solenoid and the "Maxi-Fuse". The 0/1 gauge positive cable is finished from the starter back to the remote solenoid. I installed a Taylor bulkhead connector through the trunk floor to make the ground connection to the frame. Just need to finish up putting ends on a few cable segments and all the major electrical is done. I'd maybe have been done, but Summit messed up an order and shipped a wrong cable end (not their fault really, package was packed wrong from Taylor).
Also mounted the Secret Audio and RF Antenna module.
Removed the gas tank for two reasons. First, I was in a hurry and didn't put anti-seize on the stainless carriage bolts which caused them to gall (Doh!). Plus, I decided to swap out my sending unit with barbed connections for one with AN. Rob, at RobbMC was kind enough to offier to swap for only the $20 cost difference. Tank is ready to go back in.
For those of you with cars supported by RobbMC, here are a few pics of the sending unit. RobbMC makes some quality products - mainly for GM A, B, F, and X Body cars. However, he's also got some great stuff for some Mustangs as well. Great guy, great product and great service. If you want to keep a stock tank but want a better sending unit, he's the place to start...

OK, Jim - this is for you....

Pushed the project out of the garage into the (GASP!) Sunlight on Saturday. It's a little dusty, and the place is a wreck - plus the pics were really quick. Just snapped a few. the car is in a spot where it wasn't really getting much "direct" sunlight. On the spots where the sun hits, it really popped.

I hate you man. You are going to cost me a bundle.
It looks awesome to say the least very very nice. Now don't get mad if you see a 65 cutlass sporting that color it's your own fault. My heart was set on grey but man this color is pretty.

No worries. Everyone should have to pay through the nose and struggle with this paint - I mean enjoy this paint like I have.

BTW, the paint color is Maaco Red #2. It comes in 12oz spray cans.
