Theres been alot of stuff going on with my monte that I need to put up here...

Got the T56 torn apart and fully rebuilt. IT IS AWESOME!!!

Centerforce is steping up and redoing my clutch disc and surfaceing my flywheel...and then balancing the whole unit! THANKS CENTERFORCE!!!

I got two more companies helping me out with parts for next season so 2014 is going to be INSANE!!!...I hope!

I have pics upon pics...so I will put them up in the very near future.

I have two more events in 2013. One is the OC Fall cruise In and then ther's the last CDC autox of the year.

I got my old automatic rebuilt, the one that had all the issues last May, so that will go back into the car for the rest of this season.

Oh BTW...I am just about ready to unveil the manufacturer of the faulty "Billet Forward Drum/Input Shaft". We sent them the bad part and they still wont cover anything and disagree that it was their parts fault. So.....I need some ideas on how to publicly flame them.

The first set of pics are of the tear down of my LT1 T56.....

Here is a pic of the counter shaft...which is missing three out of the six teeth on the castle end of the shaft. This needed to be replaced....

Another somewhat common weak link in these types of Transmissions is the second gear. The bottom row of teeth are not full lenght to the base and they tend to sheer off under and sort of serious load.

      There she is...all taken apart.

Here is the upgraded steel shift fork, with the upgraded Bronze pads, vs the weak stock aluminum one.

This is the new vs old reverse gear. You can see how the teeth are rubbed down on the gear on the right.
