I was hopping to fix it one day. It was hit in the rear and needs to be pulled or just cut the back half off and replace with another rear clip. I have a 78 parts car that had a engine fire so I've got every part to fix it. It will have a salvage title when done but stuff like that dont bother me, but Ive also been thinking of selling the car like it is and let someone else fix it. It does run and move under its own power, even the a/c still works. Here are some picuters of it and the parts car I have.

      AND MY PARTS CAR.

Small update. Worked on the hidden latches today. Couldnt find my insert tool so I made my own. Latches are Polished stainless and I think they really help clean things up.

Gas tank came in, looks really good. I also order a new gas door that goes in the wood of the bed. All you have to do is flip it up then fuel up. You dont even have to take the gas cap off because it has a trapdoor built in.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

I finaly made room for the trans to fit under the cab. It was sticking up just enough to be a pain. I dont have my new brake yet so I had to bend it by hand. So alot of cutting, welding, and good old grinding. I wanted to keep it pretty small because of the center console that goes around the sides so this is what I came up with. I also started mounting the fuel lines, wanted to use S.S. lines but my custom didnt want to, but he will have S.S. brake line.

Tomorrow Ill be smoothing the fire wall. Ill try to get more pictures.

So what do you think? Does the fire wall look any better?

      Here's the before:

      The after:

Now the motor looks centered. Before is is made it look like it sat to one side.
