Bryce, the car looks and sounds great. Did you have any problems with the db meter?

Bryce, I think the So-Cal Challenge would be a great next venue to show the Falcons track prowess! That track at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside should be tailor-made for this car!

Sounds awesome, I plan on doing it at some point this year. But I have some mods to get done before my next outing. Its hard to make a commitment like that. I might stay in town and do the March 2/3 SCCA event at the Q.

BTW, what tires are you running on the mustang?

The nice thing is you have 900-1000 pounds less mass. I can't stress enough how much I think you would enjoy that Adams track. The format is nice because you run three straight laps, it lets you get in a rhythm and let's the tires heat up. Then you get a nice long break for everything to cool down, then go another 3 laps. Turn the volume up, first video me running down Rich in my ghetto 86 Saleen,

I've ran open track in my kart so many times at Adam's in Riverside that I lost count. They were always inviting me to run my Evo there on the import night and I just never had the time before I got out of Cali. It seems like a REALLY nice place to work out bugs inexpensively.

So here is my list of stuff to complete before the next event.

The trans cooler needs a fan: installed and wired. Moves some air!
Remove local trans temp gauge and move to the dash: ordered and ready to install
Install 400 lbs/in springs: ordered and all the coilovers are removed.
Install gauge into the engine oil pan to monitor temp.
Notch and reweld the outer shock tower supports. This is needed due to some tire rub. Falcons dont like being lowered or have anything wider that a 215 tire in the front.
Install a breather catch can: ordered waiting for delivery.
Dial in the steering and remove as much bumpsteer as possible. I order high misalignment rod ends. The mustang with a similar set up is down to .015" toe change over 6" of droop.

im sorry if this question has already been answered but what front spindles are you using? i know you said you designed the front suspension but did you use the stock spindles with upgraded brakes? i like the car a lot by the way. Gotta love a Ford

I removed my outer shock tower supports. There was no way I could run as low or wide as I do with them in place. I dont seem to be missing Them either. I talked with Total Control about it and they said its not uncommon to do so. If I find the need to have a bump stop, I'll add one to the shock shaft.

Yours look nice. Mount them on the wall if you decide not to use them.
