The tanks are designed for only one wire (sending unit). You will see when you install your tank you can’t even move that wire meaning it is trapped between the tank and floor. Then add in the fact that my floor pan is Rhino-Lined. It just makes it worse.

I ran all my wires through the grooves without any issues. I’m able to freely move them back and forth. Maybe because I have a ricks restomod tank, the grooves are slightly deeper than stock?

The top of the holley tank is depressions that line up with the ridges in the trunk floor and there was one spot that looked like it was doable but that was also a no go. I really think the Rhino line is the issue.

Can you sand down/smooth the roughness where the wires are going to run to keep them safe? Then tape them down with some kind of tape or even Eastwood mat you used. If your worried about the mat sticking to the wire you could leave the backing on in between to strips to stick it down.
You could also space the tank down a quarter inch with something stuck to the tank right where the mounting straps go, it shouldn't make any difference in the mounting.

All good ideas but I’ve committed to wrapping the wires around the tank. Plus if there is ever an issue I won’t have to lower the tank down to remove the wires.

I just looked through your thread and your car is amazing and I love the grille. I think your harness going across the lower part of the firewall will look good if use a nice stainless steel line clamp and use a couple of the bolts from your closeout panel to hang it. I have some really nice ones that are rubber coated & anodized black that would blend in nicely. Once the motor and trans are in your not going to see much of the harness.
Now that my engine is in and the ls Harness feeds it people can get a feel for my industrial look with harness and hoses.
Your work even in wiring looks very classy and we'll planned out.

The lower looks good but it will need a swivel neck for it to work correctly.

I think those radiator hoses do go pretty good. You got alot more clearance than I do. My ac compressor to fan shroud is only 2.75 and my water pump and other vicinity pulleys about 3.5. I'm running a c and r radiator, had the high profile fans but had to order mediums. I just test fit and it's tight but I'll have about an inch between fans and the tightest pulleys. I sety dingo sliders and Speedtech engine stands back as far as both would go. I should have re fabbed them like everything else but I'm tired of redo and hard charging forward.

I ordered a swivel lower water pump neck and it looks like it will really help with the alignment of the lower hose. I am hoping to have the radiator back in this weekend and hoping it works as planned.

Weld studs are installed I will clean up the excess once it dries or is it hardens.

I had to make chipboard stands to keep the weld studs from sliding down. Most likely due to my generous amount of epoxy.

My plan is to start the car up before I make the final "Wet" connection to the motor. So I ordered this little hose that ICT Billet offer so I can bypass the Vintage Air.

I stepped the shrink wrap so the grommet would stay in place.

I also saved and labeled an extra grommet just in case I needed one later. Yes, I am building a service kit for the car that I will stow in the trunk.

I finally received the fitting I need to connect the Fuel Pressure Sensor to the Fuel Rail. I am sorry I don't really like it as it has to many points that could leak.

That is a really good question.

In theory I could probably fire it up this weekend however, my Gas Tank is at the body shop and wil most likely get painted sometime next week. Then I need to get the radiator and the throttle body painted. After that I should be ready to go.

Trust me I have made that mistake so many times.

My last big one was draining my Hot Tub and when I went to blow out the lines (yes I turned the powere on) well lets just say I was soaked from head to toe and it was 36 degree's outside.

Is the hose touching the UCA bushing washers? Would it if you add more shims?

Didn't think you'd let it rub, but due to the pic I figured I'd mention "just in case". Carry on!!! ahahaha A lot of us are watching even though we may not post in the thread often.

Thank you and one of the reason I post and take so many pictures is just in case someone see's something I missed. So I am alway happy when someone post a comment asking me to look at something that might be an issue.
