Very cool ride you have there Paul. You're doing a great job.

      1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:
89 TPI motor w/ 1pc rear seal coupled to a Viper T56 via Mcleod's modular bellhousing w/ hydraulic T/O bearing from the Viper, 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gearing, SC&C upper control arms, factory lowers with Delalums, C5 brakes at all four corners, Front Wheels 17x8's with Sumi 255/40/17 and Rear Wheels 17x9's with Sumi 275/40/17.
Brief description of the work done so far can be found here: http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112454

Most of the brackets are on and ready for the sheet metal.
Still trying to decide between stock, carbonfiber nose, or full carbonfiber nose & valance. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

      Thanks guys,
Sean - I have gone through several variations for this car.
Suspension will probably be full Hotchkis and I really like the Kore-3 C6 Z06 Big-Brake Kit.
For wheels I will have to go with 18" to fit the brake kit.
But I have not found the right set yet, still looking.

Had a chance to start covering the console frame today.
Does not seem like much but this is my first time doing any kind
of metal shaping so it was slow going.
First picture is the extra braces for the cup holders. Don't ask me why I need extra bracing for the cup holders, but I figure better to be too strong than not strong enough.

Paul – Great work on your project. We look forward seeing the console fabrication finished. It looks like it will be stout. Thanks for considering Hotchkis for your Camaro.

Are you going to give Mary Pozzi some 2nd gen competition?

      Thanks Hotchkis,
It would be more like, "Would like to get your butt kicked by Mary Pozzi".
The suspension will be my winter project.
I have looked at your TVS system, but do you have a complete suspension kit that includes everything.
Including upper & lower control arms?

More progress on the center console today.
Got the top and the box almost done.
I just have to trim some extra metal off and weld in a few small finish pieces.
Then I can start on the side panels.
      Hopefully this weekend.

Got the lid pretty much finished up.
Made a wood top so I can put padding and then material and staple it to the wood.
Welded in the nuts to attach the side panels to.
And started to sand the metal that will be natural.
Started with 220 and will end up with about 400 or 600 so you can still see the grain.
Will use a sanding block to get the grain straight for the final finish.
Got the stainless steel hardware to attach the side panels.
Hopefully finished up this week. Hopefully.

Paul – LOL! Mary does set the bar high.

Have fun this winter working on the Camaro.

We don’t have all the parts (including arms) in a single kit because everyone wants different options. Really soon we’ll be adding this 3-link for the second gen as an option too! …just in time for Winter. ;)

Here’s an image of the second gen TVS we do offer. We’re always willing to Super Size any order.

Thanks, that 3-link kit looks like a bolt in kit, is it?
And do I get a HUGE discount if I order the very first one? ;) ;)
I just ordered the Hotchkis sub-frame connectors and that is the TVS system I will be ordering very soon.

      Thanks again for the info.

Paul – Thanks for purchasing Hotchkis subframe connectors. They will make a big difference in the way your car feels in all driving aspects.

For the 3-Link, we already have a couple of people taking up the first kits. We’ll have a lot more news on the kit at SEMA. In the very near future we’ll also be producing an installation video so you can see how easy it is to install. It requires far less work than any other multilink conversion on the market.

Got the side panels cut out and fitted today.
I have to go and buy the padding for the lid and sides tomorrow.
Then I can start upholstering it.
