      In a car that's all about performance, you might say that the pretty stuff takes a back seat. Every time.

      Once you can get in and safely/legally drive it, you can consider it "done enough". Save for installing some sort of carpeting to cut down the noise for unhelmeted driving (and enough HVAC to keep the windshield clear - right, Doug ), efforts past that are luxury and can wait. Maybe forever.



      For some folks there may be perceived value in having a car that surprises people when they get nosy enough to get up close and look inside - and then come away scratching their heads because they just don't understand . . .


      I don't have the show and shine gene in me, either.
