Killer paint. If you're familiar with the '67 camaro color "mountain mist metalic", how does it compare?

Amir, Ray, Ron, Scott, Jeff, John, Tony, Kevin, Wendell, CMarcus, MC84 - Thanks for all the kind words. Talking "shop" with fellow Pro-Touring pals makes the day much better.

      Some quick answers to questions:

      - Paint is 1967 Chevelle Mountain Green. Not sure how that compares to the Metallic Mountain Mist. My car looks more like a 7up can color.

      - Wheels are Wheel Vintiques Billet Ralleys'. Also sizing up a set of genuine Aero NASCAR wheels and Goodyear Racing tires.

      Hey Guys,

Made some more progress on the Camaro build.

We have knocked the "punch-list" down to 4 pages from 10.

The hood and front spoiler came out awesome and I cannot be more pleased with the fit, finish and quality of everything else.

Still a lot of things to do, still a work in progress.

Thanks to all for all the positive feedback on the build.

Here are some shots from the other day.

I want to see this car in person to see all the detail that was put into it. I love the look of that exhaust coming out the sides.

Hey Ray - We tried doing some video of the car running parked but the sound just does not translate well. I can tell you this though, the boom tube set up we have with the inline muffler deal is way loud. It mellows some once at temperature but it is still a lot louder than my old Flowmaster setup. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the exhaust system is almost half as long as a traditional setup to the rear bumper so the sound is a lot more powerful. I would have to imagine your set up with the mufflers should be a little more quiet but still overall a loud mama-jamma. Once the car is "done" we will do some proper video of the car at speed as well as some "drive-bys" to get the full effect. Keep up the great work on the bug!

Did I miss where the hood came from? It looks awesome. What is the gauge lineup? this car is awesome and I absolutely love the color. Probably one of the more radical first gen builds in a very subtle/beautiful color.
