Thanks for clearing it up for us Mike. Welcome to protouring and I am glad if I was able to draw you out.....hehe

I know emotions have to run high when the stakes are $200K, however I bet the event was a blast in real life taking away all the "made for TV drama".

I must admit I was pulling for the charger, but am looking forward to the outcome anyway.

If you have a GTO the BMR stuff I used in the show and this week in the real Bullrun rally works! great quality! My friend just put it on his and made a world of difference. I also am going to build a motor with some folks that have a 32 valve head in any bore size you want. I am jacked about that ordered an LSx block to mod. We will keep you informed.

Luckier yet they didn't kill each other. What was the quote from last episode? "talk to me like that again and that is when bitch turns on" or something like that. At least they weren't as bad as the lotus duo. I actually hope my 2 girls end up being into cars like that when they are older.

Mike - Thanks for stopping in. I love watching you and Morgan go at it. I keep expecting her to pull over and throw you out. As a Poncho guy I've been pulling for you two. This has been a fun show to watch. Can't wait till next week's finale.

It sure seems that way with Rich being pissed and scorned.

I'd be happy with that as long as Team F'em 150 doesn't win!

I do have a old goat, but BMR didn't make stuff for it yet. I do however have some BMR parts on my malibu. It's not a new car either, but it does work pretty good. I have moved on to Mopars right now, hopefully I will have a good car one day.....

Agree on the "lost but not beaten" thing. I got no problem with the F-150 guys. Certainly not the coolest vehicle in the race, but they are playing the game to win and doing well.

Someone above asked for predictions. Here's mine:

      a) I would think that the recent receipt of of $200k would soften any bitterness, so I don't think Andre Dice-Clay and his bro in the Olds won.

Which leaves the T/A and the F-150.

Both of the F-150 guys are going on the real Bullun. One with Mike in the Charger (I would love to be on that road-trip!) and the other with Morgan. Which suggests to me that they might have $100k each in their pockets and aren't worried about a week off of work. Mike Alsop is skipping the Bullrun to work.

So my guess is that the F-150 boys win, with the T/A in second and the Olds in third.

So Mike, (Mr. Angry) what was it that caused the Charger to stall? Carb? Ignition? Was it altitude/jetting related?

The olds guys seemed "bitter" about the Charger and insulting of the car, but in truth it was a better car in every concievable way that I saw. The only think the Olds did better was not to stall in the parking garage.

They also complain a LOT about being put against the Lotus.. Hey, someone had to be put against the Lotus and it's not Team Chargers fault that the Lotus was also a better car than the olds in that competition.

Please forgive my ignorance in advance, but I had a couple of Bullrun questions and this seems to be the place to ask.

      1. With gas being an issue for some and not for others. Did the teams pay for their gas out of pocket or did Spike pay?

A fella could go broke goosing a Charger or a Cutlass over 4000 miles with today's gas prices.

      2. Spike make the teams sign contracts restricting information on who got eliminated and obiviously who won before the episodes aired? If so, were/ are their penalties?

Yeah I know, dumb questions but I was curious.

My suggestion for next season. Bullrun needs more "Flags" and of course the girls to hold them.

Cool I was into Mopars all my life still am. Mr Angry and I worked on the charger several times before this episode. When we pushed the car down the parking garage we found the front float stuck on his Holley Carburator and I couldnt get it fixed !so it was a double pumper I turned up his idle to 2000 rpm and then let the rpms build so the rear two barrels would overcome the fronts lack of fuel. It did and he fifnished i like 44 or 48 seconds. I wished I could have run the T/A it would have smoked that course with the traction control on could have pushed the crap outta it. we will never know..lol

Some other questions they wanted answered was they gave us 2000.00 to put fuel and anything else we needed. Fuel wasent anywhere what it is now it was in the 2.00 range More flags and flag girls would have been awesome..
