      Mike,
Thanks for chiming in. This is post is definately a nice addition to the show. I liked all the muscle cars on the show and definately thought it was cool that you did the show with your daughter AND let her drive the whole time.
Where is the "Real Bull Run"?
I cannot wait for the final episode. When does the next season come out?

Montreal to Key West. This coming weekend I think.

I doubt we will hear from Mr. Angry for a while I think he was leaving NYC for Montreal today.

Mike.......I dont know if I should laugh or take out a hit out on you!

Ok, the Charger is awesome and Mike M. did great within that envelope, as to it being a superior performer than the Hurst, I have to strongly disagree. The Olds had nearly perfect weight ratio, lighter overall weight, lighter occupants, more HP and much more torque, real racing tires, more advanced suspension, a driver that has race training, and better aerodynamics in short its no contest. Hey we all fell in love witht the General Lee and I swear I will own one or a Daytona replica one day, but thats not to say that its the best car and unbeatable.

If you look at the garage challenge again look how much body roll there is when Mike makes the sharp turns, look how much less there is with the Olds, I am not making this up anyone can see that.

The challenge vs. the Lotus, we had no brakes, messed up shift linkage, and no power steering, otherwise we would have smoked him IMHO (of course this is debatable and only a re-test can decide this).

Fastest cars in the rally: Lambo and or the Olds. simply due to raw HP. We got to test the Olds handling against the Lambo, he could not shake us....it was scary and awesome at the same time sicne we were a foot away from a gaurd rail and sheer drop.

The favorite car universally was of course the Charger, even team Lambo wanted one.

Well my brother and Mike met up and shook hands last night, Mike's car looks awesome and he and Alabama Rich will be running the rally. I wish them the berst of luck regardless of how I feel about this weeks episode and what was said.

Oh and Mike A. for the record, they did ask us if he could run again off camera and we as we all now know said yes.

      Cheers

Well I have been a long time watcher of both the show and this thread. Tivo it and saved all of the episodes! I was gunning for the Charger and Olds from the beginning, and now with the Charger out, its all up to team Olds to bring home the gold.

For the most part, us here in TV land are numb as to the real stories that happened. TV shows what they want for the ratings they want. So I applaud all of the teams for even being a part of this show and for having fun with it. Youve revved me up to get going on my projects just by watching the show. In the end it is all just a experience in life and the best way to approach it is with a smile. Congrats to all of the teams!

GO TEAM OLDS AND TRANS AM!!! Smoke that F-150!!!

I know emotions have to run high when the stakes are $200K, however I bet the event was a blast in real life taking away all the "made for TV drama".

I must admit I was pulling for the charger, but am looking forward to the outcome anyway.

      .....as am I.

I bet Morgan is an absolute basketcase in this last coming episode!

They also complain a LOT about being put against the Lotus.. Hey, someone had to be put against the Lotus and it's not Team Chargers fault that the Lotus was also a better car than the olds in that competition.
I concur! Remember, when the Charger had to go up against the Lotus, the Charger won handily!

It did and he fifnished i like 44 or 48 seconds. I wished I could have run the T/A it would have smoked that course with the traction control on could have pushed the crap outta it. we will never know..lol

Some other questions they wanted answered was they gave us 2000.00 to put fuel and anything else we needed. Fuel wasent anywhere what it is now it was in the 2.00 range More flags and flag girls would have been awesome..

What do you have in that Hurst a stroked 455? I would be curious to hear what kind of combo you have as that Hurst really sounded strong during the show.

Do you have Baer or Wilwood brakes on it? Was is the weight of a Hurst Olds of that year?

I really like your wheel and tire combo on that Olds and I am digging the hood on it also. I hope you guys beat team F150!

As for the Alsops I am kinda undecided because on one hand I really like TA's but on the other hand you have her father trying to manipulate everyone to his or their advantage......I dont think his daughter agrees with everything he does though. I guess its a competition in the end

      Good luck!
