AHHHH! That sucked! I'm pissed to see team Charger gone.

You guys should be very proud of your accomplishments, your class, the way you carried yourselves and the way you represented NYC and the East!

I'll be honest here, I wish Team Olds let you run again (I'm alittle upset at you guys) but I understand it's a competition and you wanted payback for being paired with the Lotus last week.

I am in the Olds corner to go all the way now.

What a figgin episode! I really thought Charger may pull it off. I actually thought for a second that team Alsop would give you the time bonus to keep you in. I mean they were in first going into the second drive, why did they need the bonus anyway. Again, I know, it's competition but really! Greedy sob!

Beer is on me if you guys want to meet up for happy hour in the city one night... Turtle Bay or Sutton place are good very viewing pleasure!!!

I guess we all thought the same about the time bonus. I have wanted the Charger or Olds to win from the beginning. Sorry to see the Charger gone, I REALLY liked that car.

However, I don't think Olds should have let the charger run again. As they said on the show sheet happens. You only get one try, they didnt let anyone else have a do over for any reason during the other challenges.

I thought I liked the Trans Am group, but after last night, I like them less than the Ford crew.

I begain not to like the Trans Am team also. I really wanted to see what that Charger would do parking garage. I think they would have killed it. What was making it cut off anyway?

Ok here is the low down. I have pretty much kept quiet in spite of the unwarranted negativity and hatred thrown at us from the other teams, but last night really got my goat.....so here is some dirt:

So the true colors are shown!!!

From the start we ran a clean rally and did not talk crap about anyone, yet they all hated us and we suspect they still do. Why? We still dont know, but episode 9..........

What they didnt show is that we actually gave the Charger team 2 times to do the challenge!!!! They stumbled on the start and the producers asked if we could give them another try, so we said ok, they ran it and as you saw bogged again, and thats when the whole peanut gallery came and asked us to give them a third shot!!!!!!!! Can you believe the audacity of these people, from day one they were all insulting us behind our backs and we give them two opportunities to do a challenge over and they still insult us in the end. Talk about being a sore loser. F those a-holes all of them! Not to mention at the wall challenge Mike pleaded with us not to throw him into a challenge that could damage his car and in return he promised he would not d!ck us over as well....we agreed and upheld our promise only to be back stabbed once again by that pant sh!tting Jim (my brother should have kicked his little girly a$$), when he threw us as a sacraficial lamb to the Lotus knowing full well that we had no brakes almost from day one of the rally!!! To compound matters (this part is not their fault) our powersteering ran dry during the challenge and so we had no brakes, the steering of an 18 wheeler, and the linkage on the shifter went south. So the only way you knew you were in the rgiht gear or any gear for that matter was by the RPMs, there was no tactile indication at the shifter and no visual indication at the shifter since we did not have the console installed; the shifter lever slid all over the place, it was a struggle.

How dare those rat b@stards in the Ford team say all that matters is how they feel when they put their heads on their pillows at night......I wonder how they felt when they ratted out two teams and then got the parts to fix their truck from production. When that went down my brother and I were on their side, we felt that the challenge was ill conceived and should not be so dangerous as to risk destruction of the cars or potentially kill someone. Their so called freinds, Team 9, was against them being able to do repairs.........nuff said.

Alsops, two out right liars, they should feel ashamed, its one thing to be quick on your toes its another to lie. Alsop manipulated all these guys from day one and they are still lining up to blow him even now.....pathetic. Texas team actually said to me that the things look the way they do because of the editing......yeah right, yes there is tons of editing, but they are not putting words in our mouths and they cant make us look like we did things that we didnt.

I calls it likes I sees it.

      Go Team Olds!!!!

I thought for sure that the Alsops where going to give up the time bonus to the Charger. Think of the words that would have been said if that had happened. Golberg would have had a good old wrestling match on his hand.

      It still looks like fun!

I wondered about the steering issue, it wasnt mentioned in the episode but the title was "No brakes... no steering... no problem"

It is getting cut throat and the alsops have been playing dirty for a while but i guess that is just a part of it... i couldnt say that i blame team olds for not giving them a 2nd or 3rd shot, i mean the 1st half of the series was cars getting knocked out b/c of failures, by F-150s standards they should have been helping team Lambo replace a clutch or rebuilding a motor in the middle of the night for team Mustang, etc... so it would be "competitive"

great explaination rich. I hope mr.angry chimes in his parting shots
but I think we all know what to expect there.
I have to admit that I was also rooting for the mopar boys from the
beginning but after that last two episodes my respect for them has
bottomed out. they were nuts to expect another chance at the
challenge after they threw the first punch.
come on, if the tables were turned would mr.angry have given the
      olds another run?
then team charger have the nerve to talk about karma for the olds.
      team charger put themselves
it that position and have no one else to blame. in fact if blame was
to be placed it would fall on the pontiac for meliciously grapping the
only time bonus when they were already in first place.
so the liars and back stabbers are all in the open now but team olds
can hold their heads up high regardless of the outcome.

Well I guess that answers the question of if the hatchet is burried. LOL!

I did have a good chuckle when the team F-150 dude said it matters that he can lay his head down at night. I wonder if he thought about when he ratted team Lotus out to Goldberg about speeding. Pretty hypocritical to me.

Of course we didn't know about the second run, so I applaud team Olds for giving them a second chance.

Poppa Alsop is definately a shrewd sob. He should run for NJ Senate or something.

Well I dont know about that, remember even if we had not given them multiple tries at doing that challenge we would still owe them for trying to get us eliminated by the Lotus in spite of the gentlemans agreement we had made to watch each other's back.....we had no idea they were plotting with the TA and the Ford to knock us out.

Of course I've had a lot more time to think about this, but if I was Team Olds and the entire entourage came up to me with that offer...
      1) I would immediately know that they were ALL against me.
      2) I would agree to their plea IF they ALL ran the course twice, and posted their slowest time of the 2, while I get two runs and post my HIGHEST time. NOW lets see how much they want to help team Charger, hehe. Now I would have the chance to take the lead cars time heading in to the next leg.

But Naw, it went down as it should. I would have had to come down there and kick Team Old's azz's if they had bought in to that nonsence. Don't get me wrong, I was really pulling for team Charger, but you guys HAD to take advantage of the situation. The heat you took from "Florida" the previous week just made it that much easier to make the correct decision. I always tell my kids not to talk "smack" cuz' it's VERY likely to bite you in the azz one day.

I found it interesting that, though Trans-Am lied about the bonus, it actually ended up being the truth because there really WAS just one time bonus, LOL. I know Alsops is taking some heat for being "manipulative" but boy he's smart. He knows that valuable time is gained by fast cornering, hard braking, and quick accelaration. His car is clearly built for this type of driving, and his daughter is starting to recognize why you need to "drive the car" (in other words, "GET ON IT GIRL!!"). He knows that after this show, he's going back to his friends and family (perhaps much richer), so "tricking" other apponents is fair-game at this point in the competition. If he loses, I hope it's not because of ANOTHER police stop. That car is a total cop-magnet. F150 just cruises under the radar, LOL.

I'll be fine with any of the final three to win. Preference to Team Olds but Aslop is gonna be tough ;)

You know, none of this really matters. What matters is who hooked up with the flag girls? Forget the 200k!

I'm sorry. But I love the dirty tricks going on here at the end. I watch the Amazing Race. Same thing happens there also in the end. This is a COMPETITION. You do what ever it takes to win. I could sleep well with 200k in the bank after this race if I threw a few curves out there. AS a poncho guy I'm pulling for the Alsops. But would not be dissappointed if Team Olds won. Afterall it is a GM and a really nice old Olds.

I want to say that gentleman racing would have given the Charger another shot, rivalries and attitudes aside, but giving the clearly better car another shot would be suicide. I really wanted team Charger to win. I thought the mileage would screw them, too bad they had to go out on a car failure.
