Congrats on driving it to a car show. I wish I'd come out. I want to see the Falcon, and all of your suspension in person.

I have considered designing a from stub, but my car was a perfect rust free california car with 48K miles. There was no way I was going to cut up that nice of a car. Well I cut it a little. HEHE.

I have slowly been working on a blank paper suspension setup and a full tube frame car. It will be front engine small block ford, solid axle and modular for different types of racing.
Sounds like fun. I lowered my car severely so I am expecting some squirrely front end effects when I get the back done. Maybe I will just build something like you did but I like the whole clip idea with no inner fenders. After working on my T bucket for some reason I don't car to work on full bodied cars now.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting - Holy cow - what a ride!!!

HAHA, I understand the ease of working on cars with no inner fenders or at least removable inner fenders. I think at that point you should tie into your rear frame rails with a full frame with body welded to the frame. Then you would need to tie into the upper torque boxes to complete the structure. Maybe starting with a nova stub would be easier and modify from there.

I'll warn you now, you better watch out for those modular ones... they get out of hand quickly...

People do that with phone numbers and email addresses for privacy Johnny. Scab computer geeks have programs that can search the web and recognize email addresses and phone numbers then the next thing you know you are getting all kinds of sales calls and emails etc.

Yep, I will have my HD flip camera mounted on the car, Maybe underneath looking at the suspension and some cockpit views.

I have some crazy ideas for the modular setup, I will share those at a later date.
