Is it possible that you can post some pictures of how you made those seats mount in the front and rear?

I'm in the process of mine as well and I would appreciate the help. [email protected]

Wow thats looking amazing there is quite a bit of time involved great job.

I was looking and didn't see if you posted or not but what color blue is that on the car in the early stages before you welded everything together? Seems to change to bright teal when the camera flash hits it.

Anyhow great progress and I can't wait to see more pics.

      give it time to set

Ok removing seat cover from GTO 2004-06 1o1

Start with loosen these 4 springs

with them out of the way you can lift up the plastic

now you can get the headrest mounted

all you have to do is push is push this in

and then it is lose and can be removed

Now the Seat Recline Lever YOU can´t remove it and you don't need to

the cover comes off without removing it

Is this the right tool for the job ?

it pinches the parts well together and good space to work with it

      does it work :?:

Nice progress. Just curious, with your GTO seats, did you cut the bottoms down at on on the front seats? I have the same seats and am trying to fit them in my 68 Acadian (Nova) and I find they sit quite high. I was hoping to keep the power controls, but trying to find a way to bring them down some. Keep up the good work.

No I didn't cut the seat. I was gonna use the GTO floor in one piece in to the chevelle and lower
the floor. But it was not an easy task in my little garage to do it well so I decided against it
but I'm working on it......to find a good solution for it
And here is what I'm doing today
Ok I have primer and painted the area that go on the firewall

same with area on the firewall

primer and paint remove from the welding points

      and same on the firewall

      all welding points ready

      and it fits
