I had to cut piece out the k member because I will be using the Corvette pan

And need to cut here too

      see here

What is the proper degree of the motor 1 to 5 degree angle? Here is it about 3 degree

Anyone have the A-body measurement for engine location so it will lineup with the rear axle ?

the donor tunnel is from 1981 Chevrolet Caprice

10 years apart but some line are the same and fit

the 81 and 71 fit well together

Why not just buy a autocraft pan or a ls1? it seems like a lot of work just to make the car fit the pan instead of the pan fitting the car. IF that is a 4l60e it should have fit with no mods to the tunnel and if you use the edelbrock mounts it will put the motor to as stock location that you would not need a mod drive shaft.

The Camaro ls1 pan donīt fit and the GM LH8 oil pan the engine seats to high at the front for my taste. autocraft pan and Moroso lsx oil pan seat lower than the k member . And you do need to modify the tunnel if you don’t like the engine to look like quarter mile car wheeling and the start.

here you see how the engine fitting well and it takes no more than 30 min to put the 4L60e to the engine under the car

      Good space here

      4L60e in places

The driveshaft in places but is the alignment OK ?

      Nice workspace here

The big question is? Is this ok and if see a problem please tell me.
