I'm very curious to see how the interior part of this goes, I have been considering using GTO front and rear seats in my project (72 CHevelle) as well

wouldent it be cheaper just to have the red redone rather then paint the car a different color??

We put GTO seats in a 70 Chevelle we build a couple of years ago. The fronts sit pretty high my buddy and I are both 6'3"). the back seat can be cut down to fit. The seat back will be really high but enough off the bottom and it fits nice.

We had another shop dye leather to match and removed the GTO logo from the seats. In the end it would have been cheaper to buy after market seats for the fronts.

      They are beautiful though!

Wayne has done the GTO seat swap. You may want to ask him about modifying the front seats to sit lower. I know that he did some fabrication.
