Yep, NO More Kroger. Kroger booted them. I feel bad for the eateries around there. Niftee Fiftees was a big draw. Now they are looking at having it at the old Randalls at Louetta and Kuykendahl. That might be a questionable spot. We will see when the first show starts in March.

Wow- car is beautiful. I love the stripe on the car; has a modern 60's flair (yea I just made that up- it's a thing now). The color is insane. After reading this I realized you are in Spring- cant be more than a few miles from me. I was just at the niftee fiftees show in my 70 GTO a few weeks ago at Kroger?

Are you going to take the car to cars and coffee his weekend? Would love to check it out in person, very impressive build.

I shot this video a couple of weeks ago when I had the exhaust dropped so I could replace the lower control arms.

I had a question about the wheel tire combo. Iam doing a 68 GTO convertible right now. It was taken down to the frame and is now on the way back together. It is fitted with a complete Front and Rear UMI suspension.

What size wheels and tires did you use with what back spacings? Did you have to trim anything or do any other body mods to fit them? I am planning on doing a 17" or 18" wheel on mine and want to know from others experiences what will fit. It has 1" lower springs on both ends.

Your project is awesome I hope mine can be as nice. It is a factory Black convert with a black top and red interior. I am trying not to do anything to it that cant be reversed if someone should want to put it back to stock some day.

      Thanks, Chris

Car looks great. I was just in the Willowbrook, Houston area for work this past week. Not far from Spring.

Saw the car this morning- pictures do not do it justice at all. The more you look at it the more subtle custom touches you see. The paint is INSANE.

      Thanks for the compliments guys.

Jeremy, it was nice meeting you on Saturday, I look forward to seeing you at other shows.

Roger, your GTO is what inspired me to do mine.

Since you lowered you car what have you done to create more header clearance?

69 Goat, love the video and the sound of that 462 Pontiac!
I remember bottoming out and dragging my headers in my first car, 69 Custom S (with GTO emblems)!
Was thinking about adding 3/4" wear plate to the underside of the engine crossmember.

Short of modifying the floor, there is not much I can do. Fortunately the headers are tucked up pretty tight. My front suspension is pretty taught so there is very little give. Hopefully I won't have to do anything.

Here is an idea for you if needed. I understand they call these NASCAR headers.
