Okay folks...I cant think of a better way to have spent my Labor Day weekend!! Actually I could have as I spent the past 2.5 days trailering home my Mustang! Fla> Dalton, Ga> Huntsville, AL> Fla @ 55mph. Note to self: Never do that again!

In any case, I picked the car up from terry on Friday, completely speechless and tired from driving. I am completely overwhelmed with the quality of the car and at this point don't really know where to start first. I have taken it out for a couple of spins (very easily), as I need to get the front end aligned. Jeff did take me for a spin while in Dalton and all I have to say is HOLY SH@* that thing scared the hell out of me. Talk about slamming you back in your seat! Anyway, here are some pictures. I will post more once I get my head out of the clouds.

Looks awesome, Matt! I didnt know you posted on this forum. If you scroll around the forum you will find my 63 split window build that you were asking about a few weeks ago.

I look forward to seeing a video of your mustang run! Are you going to need to add actual mufflers or is it tolerable the way it is? I hope the mass-flo efi is working out well

      Hey Chris -

Send me the link to the vette build. Awesome car!!

I must say that the Mustang noise level is tolerable, however people do hear you coming. The Mass Flo seems to be working out pretty good and have not had any issues with it what so ever. I have an appointment on Thursday with a speed shop in Destin to adjust my alignment and suspension. Apparently they put the car on plates and adjust by hand.

      Matt,
Wow! The car looks amazing. It has been so much fun to watch it come together. I can't wait to see you put it through it's paces.

Make sure that your alignment guys use our recommended specs, NOT the Ford specs. CLICK HERE for the TCP recommended alignment specs.

Man, I cant believe you already put this badboy on ebay. Unfortunate you dont get to enjoy it a little longer, but ya gotta do what you gotta do.

I wrote your number down so that WHEN I hit the Powerball Saturday I can get in touch and wont even haggle over the price.

      Anyway, beautiful car.

this is a very nice looking car and the owner spent a boatload of money, i hate to say this but a few things really bother me seeing such a high dollar build, from the build photos the MIG welding work looks horrible i mean really horrible and they used a boatload of bondo hiding all of this on the car, i mean loading up with bondo is just going to attract moisture and crack. I really do not understand how builders charge big money to do this. Other than that it is pretty damn sweet but who knows how it will hold up over time.

That's what I was wondering, the underside of the car looks cool but if it gets driven the paint/primer will chip and expose the bondo. I know it's not the prettiest, but I would have much rather seen bedliner, so that it could be driven without worry. Oh well, maybe it will strictly be a show car? :(

100% true but look at the welding, i know welding upside down is difficult even on a lift but they had this car on a rototwirler i mean no excuse for lack of skill and all of those welds are structural and i just do not like it. if i was in the market to buy a car of this level and saw the build photos i would run away. bondo is no means of hiding bad fabrication. Also no excuse why the welds shouldn't have been done right and show them off instead of hiding chicken scrap with bondo. i hope most builders who make cars of this level do not do the same because that's a true disgrace. its no doubt a killer looking car but it wont hold up driving it, its a trailer queen only.
I am so thankful my car was not built like this i mean my builder really took their time welding under my car and nothing was concealed because it did not need it

^^^ x2. Not to trash the build, but I questioned the build technique of the car. If you look back, they ran fuel lines on top of the trans hump, inside the pass compartment, next to the wiring. Hope it got addressed. The welds on the dash looked terrible, especially where they welded up the ash tray. Even I can do better welds.

Enough said. It's a very nice car with lots of quality parts. It's the build technique that is questionable.
