      Okay,

Terry and Jeff transported the Mustang to AJ of Street Seats in New Port Ritchey for the start of the interior work. Take a look at AJ's website Custom Hot Rod Interiors, Street Rod Upholstery Restorations, Classic Car Interiors from Steet Seats to see get a better idea of his craftsmanship. I am convinced the AJ will do the same quality job that Terry has done for the build. AJ is very excited to get started on it. I told AJ to just work his magic on the interior. Surely he wont disappoint! These are pictures of the car at his shop with the fenders hung.

Thanks, I can promise you that I will be posting some driving videos when completed.

I have a couple of weeks left on the interior then it heads back to Dalton for Terry to finish up. We are going to be headed to the Shades of the Past, Pigeon Forge TN for its first car show!! September 6th and 7th

Ive been lurking this site for a while mostly watching Mustangs. Your car is awesome.
Eventaully Id love to put one together. Is the 460 a dove block? Do you have the option to have it converted to a four bolt when having it milled? What expectations do you have as far as hp?

Anyway awesome car. Kinda reminds me of the Obsidian mustang for some reason.

      Hey Astro-

Maybe you can help me out on determining this one. I originally purchased the motor from a guy in NY that had the complete lower half machined at a place in NY called SK Speed Shop to include balancing, block work, crank, etc etc. The guy never installed it in his 68 fastback as it was too radical of a build for him and was afraid of twisting the body. Well, I bought it and we had the cam, lifters, and timing replaced. Not sure how to answer your questions but here are some pictures of when I first started buying engine parts.

      Original Engine Purchase

That was the original engine purchase and then we installed new cam, lifters, timing, ported and polished the heads

      [URL=http://s1187.photobucket.com/user/545cubes/media/2011%20-%2067%20Mustang%20Fastback%20Restoration/Intake%20Port%20Match/PICT8048.jpg.html]

Now, the new Cam and Lifters - I went top the Comp Cams website and pulled this information from the box
      HYDRAULIC − Street/strip, 2800+ stall, 9 .5:1 compression, lower gears, rough idle .Hyd . Hyd . 2300 to 6500 34-250-4 XE284H 284 296 240 246 .584 .588 110°

This one might have come out of the car when it came back from S&K Speed Shop. Not sure where I got this one

All to say, that is what I got and then of course the Mass-Flo EFI system up top. Hoping to make somewhere between 550-600 hp. Any insight/feedback from anyone would be appreciated, thanks

I bought a dry sump oil pump from him, a 4 stage peterson. It was from a 460 stroker motor that the owner could not pay to complete. I think that is your motor if I remember correctly. That is one fine build. If you ever sell it I got dibs.

Just like everyone else, the attention to detail blows me away. My fingers hurt just looking at that. My only concern is the brake lines. It looks like you have stainless steel braided lines going to a blue anodized aluminum fitting sealed with teflon tape going into the brake calipers which is really not correct. Should be banjo fittings, Id check into that before driving the car

If you are referencing the photo below, or the similar photo of the front brakes, I have to politely disagree. The Wilwood calipers are designed to accept an 1/8" NPT fitting which is tapered and designed to resist backing out. Wilwood has been around over 30 years and we've been selling their products for over 25 years; we have yet to see one fail. While we typically recommend steel fittings for street use, for corrosion and abrasion resistance, the aluminum should hold up fine. The big advantage of a pipe thread with a -AN fitting is that it's easy to install in custom applications.

Carl -Thanks for the Wilwood caliper and break line seminar/education.

Why are they putting teflon tape on a AN fitting? The 37deg flare should prevent any leaking. If it leaks, something is wrong with the flare.
I've played around with AN and MS fittings for over 20 years. Never used Teflon tape on one.

Are you still going to make it to the Shades Of The Past this weekend? We're pulling out this Thursday morning to go down for the Shades and stay through the Grand run. This has been a yearly trip for the last 27 years for us with or without a car.

Okay folks...I cant think of a better way to have spent my Labor Day weekend!! Actually I could have as I spent the past 2.5 days trailering home my Mustang! Fla> Dalton, Ga> Huntsville, AL> Fla @ 55mph. Note to self: Never do that again!

In any case, I picked the car up from terry on Friday, completely speechless and tired from driving. I am completely overwhelmed with the quality of the car and at this point don't really know where to start first. I have taken it out for a couple of spins (very easily), as I need to get the front end aligned. Jeff did take me for a spin while in Dalton and all I have to say is HOLY SH@* that thing scared the hell out of me. Talk about slamming you back in your seat! Anyway, here are some pictures. I will post more once I get my head out of the clouds.
