I really do not understand how builders charge big money to do this. Other than that it is pretty damn sweet but who knows how it will hold up over time.
What are you talking about? Not being sarcastic, I honestly dont know. I know very little of autobody work. I see where the welds look poorly but I assumed as long as they were tied in, not warped and cleaned there would be no issue whatsoever.

Could you be more specific about the bondo? Id like to hear what the owner say about this as well.

Its unfortunate if it wasnt a complete quality built, which it appears to be in my laymen eyes.

AstroCreep the photos are very self explanatory, to cover up those welds would require 1/4 or greater of bondo

Did they maybe grind down and clean up the welds before the final finish work?

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

^^ Kinda what I had assumed, but like I said I know very little about body work. I do have some welding experience (though years ago) on much, much thicker iron. Those welds looked subpar no doubt. Just looked like the wire speed and heat were not where they shouldve been. Id think they wouldve been cleaned before the car was taken any further.
Like I said, I dont dont what the guys are saying bc I dont know crap about the process.

Beautiful car!!!! Not sure if I asked this question before, but what size tires are you running? I am also a staggered set of wheels which are 20x10 & 18x8.
