Larger than 18x8 is going to be very difficult unless you stretch the tire. My 18x8 with 245 tire are a pretty tight fit at my low ride height. 18x11 will require relocating the framerails out back, an 18x12 becomes more difficult and would most likely require a whole new back-half to the car to give room. I will tell you , on these little Falcons a 315 tire on an 11" rim looks like a steamroller out back.

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

      Nice Work!
Too bad about Helix, but it's good to know. Your cross member looks way better anyways.

My new rear axle from Currie showed up Friday. I have to say, they have excellent craftsmanship at their facility.

love the new crossmember! i am alittle concerned with how the top a-arm/ coil over mount is. i think it would have quite i bit of flex when cornering hard. Are you planning on doing an engine cage if so that might be a great way to tie into them. love the falcons. keep up the goodwork looks 200% better than that piece of crap.

I haven't actually thought about it, but the upper and lower mounts are welded together so I will see what kind of flex it has once everything is together and go from there. I appreciate the compliment.

I haven't had a lot of time to work on the car but I did get a little done on the firewall. There is still a lot of hole to fill though.

I was able to cut the air ride 4 link up I had for 65 mustang and make it fit. So its the Falcon got to see the sun for the first time in 3 years. Its crazy how much of a appearance change the rear-end being narrowed 2" on each side makes on the car.
