I am working on a '68 very similar to yours. Would you mind sharing what size wheels and tires you ended up using, and what back spacing you specified?

Front 18x9 5.5" bs
Rear 18x12 5.5" bs

Will have rear end cut to center tires in rear wheel wells

Tires

Toyo R888

Front 275 (may go narrower if they rub. Using Ride Tech Tru Turn)
Rear 335 (car has DSE mini tubs with coilovers)
