Don't start picking out parts unless you come with a bag of money first.

Well, figure out a reason to get to the Indy area and you can not only see all of the cars, but we'll let you lend a hand.

Good seeing you guys on Saturday. It's going to be a totally different animal with the new wheels, tires, t56 and EFI. Only 3 months till RTTA are the plans to have the wagon there?

That is a good question...I would love to have it there but, I am not sure how the logistics of getting all the cars to these events is going to work out next year. We have been throwing out a few ideas and options, we will just have to see what happens.

Good to see you and Darcy also. It's always fun to hang out with Pro-Touring guys even when it's not a driving event. I think Deb covered the wagon question. It's just a matter of funding the trip for two cars...

Hey Aaron, I think we talked about you being from Indiana before. We're real close to Indy and not too far from Bloomington either. Let us know anytime you're in town, we'd be happy to show you the "fleet".

Just in case you guys missed Deb wheeling the wagon around at GG Indy, Popular Hot Rodding was kind enough to post a picture of her driving and Sam hanging on. Funny thing is that the 327 is gone, the 200-4R is gone and the steelies are gone. Next year will be an even better year for Deb and the wagon for sure!

Here's the whole page since a lot of our friends are on it too.

      Exciting parts and pictures!

I mentioned a while back that Deb had won the Holley EFI setup, so here's a little eye candy that's getting ready to be installed on the ZZ4.

Then because we really wanted a road race oil pan for the "new" engine we purchased this Canton pan that is really designed for a Corvette chassis. The sump is 13" from front to rear so we knew fitment would be an issue.

Solutions; move the motor mount frame stands back 1" and cut a little off the engine crossmember. I've never been a fan of cutting on crossmembers, but I know guys alot smarter than I do it and I'm confident that I can do it without loosing any strength. I'll spare you the pictures of the first attempt where we completed it and it still interfered with the oil pan. Second attempt was much better... I really should know better than to prime and paint something before test fitting! I know the paint is not pretty, but it's the wagon and if anything should stand for "form follows function" it should be that thing!

      a little bracing before cutting

      3/16" plate steel

      Looking good!

What seat(s) are you going to run with the T56 change and engine set-back? The bench seat might require a heck of a curved shifter handle..... you may have already said, but I forgot.

Nothing firmed up yet. I planned on a set of ebay seats like we bought for Sam's car, but Debbie said no. We'll probably end up searching the local pic-a-part and pull-a-part to find an oem takeout. No matter what, the bench seat has to go. Deb is done sliding around while cornering!
