      The headers are part #2308-1HKR and are made by Hooker. Apparently they are made to order.They have 2" primaries, come with two different length removable collectors so that you can adjust torque curve at different RPM range, and are cerami-coated.

      Car comes back from paint on April 7th. Concrete takes 28 days to gain full strength, I'm no paint expert but I imagine paint should cure quicker than that. As long as the paint comes home with me on the evening of the 6th I'll be content.

      Get them to run it through the oven and cure it for you.
      1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:
      89 TPI motor w/ 1pc rear seal coupled to a Viper T56 via Mcleod's modular bellhousing w/ hydraulic T/O bearing from the Viper, 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gearing, SC&C upper control arms, factory lowers with Delalums, C5 brakes at all four corners, Front Wheels 17x8's with Sumi 255/40/17 and Rear Wheels 17x9's with Sumi 275/40/17.

      Wow, you were right, Ken told me it typically takes 60 days for paint to cure, but he will be baking it and said should be good to go on Friday.

      Most clear coat's today take up tp 90 days to fully cure. When you bake the clear all you are doing is setting it up so you can buff and deliver it back to the customer. No matter how long you bake it, it still take's up to 90 days for all the solivents to come back out. That includes your sealer, basecoat, and clear coat. Thats why some shop's will tell you to come back after the 90 days to polish it again because sometimes it will shrink. As far as beating on it at the track you should be fine.

      Your to funny, actually I think he quoted 130 degrees, it's temporary anyways, just wanted to get car on road courses soon, unfortunately I dipped into my shop fund so will see about winter tear down. Might have to wait till next year for new paint scheme

      I know you did not buy your sheetmetal through us but I wanted to solve this hood alignment issue for you. So I called the owner of AMD and forwarded him these pics.

      We have not had any issues like this. So for the slight fender missaligment, that is not uncommon even on NOS these things lined up horrible. But that hood bow is not right.

      Please contact

      I've seen a lot of fiberglass hoods bow like that in the middle... Def cool of you to get him in touch with someone there about the problem.

      Dyno Pull

      Ok, just got home from my dyno pull at NYES Racing Engines in Muncie, Indiana. What a blast!! Rented a new Camaro for the 2 hour drive into Muncie from Indianapolis Airport. Too much fun!! The roads in Indiana are nice and they think they Know what traffic is, LOL. Nothing like California and the drivers there are super courteous(pulled in the no. 2 lane without hesitation when I was coming up on them, sorry folks, was in a hurry).


      Got to the shop at 6:00 p.m. and they were still there, and Pat and Mark through it on the dyno for me right away. GREAT GUYS!!

      OK, not gonna drag this out cause I'm beat and need sleep, will post pics in couple days cause gonna be real busy next couple days.

      Numbers were 615 hp at 6400 rpm and 562 torque at 5000 rpm. This thing sounded wicked and cant wait to post first sound video and most likely 1st through 2nd wicked bunout, LOL.

      More details after a couple days.

      FRIKEN-A-BUBBA!! Cant wait to drop her in and I'm crappin my pants thinkin about what she's gonna feel like on the track. Nervous and excited at the same time.

      Pat said I could start thrashin motor right away(love that guy).... With new seats(which I'm gonna test before selling old ones that I loved but were a bit heavy), new throttle pedal, more hp/trq, and less weight, gonna feel like a whole nother car.
