Ok, I figured out how to have the video in my post.

But the car is back in my garage and I am making a few mods. Rear suspension is out. I am planning a splined rear sway bar install a little more tire clearance on the inner fender and a few other small things. The main cradle is getting powder coated.

Great looking car mate, and great work you are doing. I bet the 2 door falcons would be rare in the states. They were/are rare here in Australia. Thanks. Actually I think there are a lot of two door falcons up here. Everyone at car shows always tells me how there family had one growing up or their friend had one. HAHA

Hey Bryce, car is looking great. I just had to go back thru the whole thread, as I just got a 65 2 door wagon. You wouldnt happen to have an exta gas pedal laying around would you? lol

So Bryce, Next time you are bored and have nothing else to do.. Do you think you could measure the torsion bars on your Durango or Dakota for me? Length, Diameter and size of Hex? Actually the Diameter of both if possible because I think they are different. I had an idea and I don't have the dimensions of them. Thanks.

I like your build Bryce, I remember checking in at the start of your project on here and thinking it was nice but the distance you've travelled since then is amazing. Keep up the good work.

Two door wagons are sweet! I eventually will own one. Built to be a twin of my falcon.

I believe I still have mine old one if you are serious, its yours if you want it.

I am actually using the stock pivot point and rod with an aluminum pedal bolted to it. I am sure I threw away the stock plastic pedal. But its your if I stumble across it in my falcon boxes.

Actually the Durango and Dakota are both 2WD so they use coil springs. Moog actually lists the same part number as a replacement for all durangos and dakotas regardless of cab or engine.

If I had the 4WD I would do it!

Small update

The cradle for the third link is at the powder coaters. I should have it back at the end of this week. Then I can reinstall all my suspension. I still need to make some clearance on my inner fenders and plan out a sway bar.

We are in the middle of installing a rear sway bar on my dads 65 mustang, everything has been custom fabbed in the garage. I plan on taking the lessons learned from that and applying to my sway bar build. Should be nice.

What color were you going with for the cradle again? should look great whatever you decide. Are you going with an adjustable blade type swaybar? or something else?

Cradle will be really really close to the hammer tone gold that I had painted before. It is actually called cardinal brass. It looks like gold irridate.

The sway bar will be a splined bar with aluminum arms and mulitple holes. I wish I could afford a blade type bar. But not on this car. On my next car I have some plans for a cockpit adjustable sway bar.
