      Yes, friction would be the answer indeed and a lot of it ;-) To achieve the 38k ft-lb clamping load, the install torque on a lubricated nut is over 300 ft-lb, in tight quarters no less. With heim/spherical joints a bushing/spacer is needed to allow for full articulation of the joint, coupling this with washers on inside & outside of the bracket to provide enough landing zone for the end of the bushings/spacers, nut, and head of the bolt. Throw in a shouldered SHCS to match the slot width for good measure.

      I'm sure you'll make a it work, just wondering about your design methodology for using the channeled slot (with multiple but challenging location reproducibility) compared to simple fixed holes?

      The car is on the ground with the suspension under it. The coilovers are actually holding up my car. Im super stoked right now. It was a long evening but I made great progress. Obviously not complete, but here are the pictures.



















      There is more work to do, dial in ride height, link lengths, watts geometry, UCA angle. I still need to modify my fuel system it used to be where the watts cradle currently mounts.
