I don't think its bad but I think its just out of place with the rest of the look you have gone with. I think it needs to be chrome, or body color. If you have to keep it I would do some sort of minor accents in that color elsewhere on the truck.

We didnt want it chrome because the letters on the front are chrome the bumper is chrome so thats why we did the silver on the grill. The only other thing that ties the grill in is the silver on the gauages. I know you dont think it looks bad gearheads78, I like the input.
I was going to take some out side pictures but its still raining here in east tn. I did get the drive shaft back today and got it in. I also put some LED lights in the new gauages.

Since you are accepting my armchair building this is what I would do.

I would leave the trim rings polished, polish the grill but use the red paint in the back ground where the stock one above is black. If you want to really make it slick paint it all red and make some thin small polished accent pieces to go on the grill to match the running boards.

That was the other thing the customer told me not to do, paint the grill red :(

I sent them the pictures with the way the front is now so will see what she says. I was thinking about the trim pieces to go on the front. I was trying to picture it in my mind how it would look on the silver. That way it would be diffrent but custom at the same time. I just dont want it to look tacky if you know what I mean. One good thing is paint can be changed...lol.

I was thinking of making trim like the running boards to go were the 4 pices are in the middle of the grill. One long on top the two smaller ones in middle and one long on bottom. Just dont know yet.

Not to be critical, I love the build, but why didnt you widen the track width by 6" or so since you went to a MII?

      Cheers,

      Wes

One If I would have went wider on the front the wheels would hit the fenders when it turns lock to lock. The wheels you see on there now are just to roll it around the shop. There just a 7 1/2 wide wheel.

Thanks guys. I was able to fire the truck up but but when it started to back fire I cut it off. I also found a small gas leak at the fuel rail so had to fix that too. This video is of the first start up with out the computer adjusted. I'll get you guys a better one once I get every thing set up.

Ok guys got the wheels and tires on today. I may lower the back down some but I want to see how far it goes down first. Sorry about the lift in the way but with the snow I cant take her out yet.
