Ok got a few more things done on the truck.

Made some S.S. tubing to put my rear tail light wires in.

I have some of the engine wire and some S.S. tubing for the Vac. lines

One of the biggest things on the truck was the customer wants the stock dash panel but custom gauges. So we made a new panel for the middle and had Classic Instruments make a 5" for the center and two 3 3/8 for the tach and the other a quad. They are the All American Series.

I didnt like the way the MSD Distributor had a red top so I painted it black to blend in with the engine. I got the Valve covers painted and Installed the wires and ZoopSeal Holders. I think the engine bay is coming out pretty good.

Color looks sharp. Did you wet sand the engine bay or is that simply buffed clear? Looks awesome.

Well I found out that the running boards I had for this truck are the wrong one's and nobody makes them for this truck so.... I made my own. They needed to be 2" longer then the ones I had. I will be making Stainless Steel runners for the tops.

First I made a templet and added the 2" in the middle. Then I cute them out of 18g steel.

Next was to brake the edges in and make the corners.

After that I started the welding and spaced everything out to keep it from getting to HOT.

So after all that I now have a custom set of boards for the truck. All thats left is to trim the metal off the back edge's that stick out.

Here is what the stock boards look like - the 2" I added.

Hey guys, made a few more things for the truck. I finished up the running boards and Installed them on the truck. Then I made some custom strips to place on top to help them stand out alittle. I also painted the grill a snow white pearl that Im hopping sets the front off. Ive got the wheels and tires on the way and the drive shaft should be done this week. Here are some pictures.

      HERE ARE THE BOARDS

HERE IS HOW I MADE THE STRIPS FOR THE TOP OF THE BOARDS.

cut them out and rounded the tips

ground them down on my 3in wheel for better control.

after that sand by hand and polish

AND HERE IS HOW THEY LOOK ON THE TRUCK.

      LAST IS THE GRILL

      Thanks guys.

We did get the grill in today and I think the color of the grill really made the front, what do you guys think? I also got all the stainless tubing done under the hood so good to go there. I may even get to fire this thing up this weekend. Still need to tuck away some wiring but thats it. Here are a couple of pictures from today. Maybe I'll get the dust off in the next pictures...lol.

I have liked everything else you have done with the truck but I am not feeling the white grill at all.

Its not white, its a silver pearl (house of color- snow white pearl). The flash makes it look like white. I'll try to get you guys some better pictures so you can see it better. I dont know if this picture is any better but I'll post it any way.
