I wiggled'r down to a 50.83 on the last run (in the dark) of my maiden voyage out at Adams. Had alot of 51.1's, with more seat time I could really get a nice number there.

Yeah, after all my second session was botched for me, I left feeling like there was a lot on the table.

You guys had a rough one yesterday Jason. I hope the car didn't get too hurt at the end.

When's the next date for Adam's?

At least October for me. Between Camrillo and Buttonwillow at the end of the month, I want to keep the car fresh.

i was there last week with my 69. There were alot of third gen camaros but no 60s or 70s pro-touring cars.

Last week was my first time on the track ever in any car. I will be there for the next two weeks, then ill be gone for school.

Best i laid down was a 52.53 but thats with 3 inches of dead steering, bald front tires, and a passenger. I think i can get it down to the 50s next week. soooooo stoked to go again.

School has already started for me, but I should see if I can make once more before things get busy. If I get the Trans Am all sealed up, I'll look into going next week (9-14.)

Don will be out there with his '32 again next week so I will stop by. He just swapped out the worn clutch type posi for a gear type so hopefully it won't be an oversteering fest. He is trying to get sponsored on wheels so he can have an extra set with sticky tires for track days.

      Are you making history?

OK, just for fun, i was thinking about this over the weekend. So, you to an autocross and run your car. Are you running hard? Is your car setting good times? Are you a croud pleaser? How do you know?I came up with some ways to be sure, and you guys can add you're own,
      1. Does the croud gather to watch you run?
      2. Is there a croud around your car in the pit area?
      3. Do you leave a cloud of smoke at the start/finish line?
      4. Does the announcer cheer you on?
      5. Does the announcer heckle you?
      6. Do other drivers want to ride in your car?
      7. Do spectators want to ride in your car?
      8. Do your friends and family NOT want to ride in your car?
      9. Does the announcer 'ready' the cone crew as you start a run?
      10. Does the announcer name a cone after you?
      Any more?

      Snickering rather than to watch
      2. Is there a croud around your car in the pit area?
More of the snickering along with some pointing.
      3. Do you leave a cloud of smoke at the start/finish line?
      Does blue smoke count?
      4. Does the announcer cheer you on?
      Is that geer or cheer.
      5. Does the announcer heckle you?
Until I point the car at the annoucing booth......under that cloud of smoke......hee hee hee
      6. Do other drivers want to ride in your car?
      To see the improper line.
      7. Do spectators want to ride in your car?
      Health insurance paid up?
      8. Do your friends and family NOT want to ride in your car?
Family isn't allowed in public unsupervised, friends who has friends?
      9. Does the announcer 'ready' the cone crew as you start a run?
No, but the cone crew does run for cover.
      10. Does the announcer name a cone after you?
They put out a hit on me in the name of the cones.
      Any more?

Well, this week isn't going to happen for me . . . now don't the rest of you start bailing out. I ended up having to work on other people's cars at the cost of neglecting my own for a bit longer.
