Well, I had plenty of time to for sleep when I got home from work this morning. The I sat down, opened this post, and several hours have gone by. This coupled with the $50.00 pant job are gonna make for a rough night at work

This is absolutely amazing. A car of this caliber, for this kind of money, in this amount of time, with one set of hands is crazy. I am inspired.

where in MD are you? I grew up in Westminster. This car is nothing short of amazing. Man I wish I knew how to work on cars. I love cars and motorcycles, but don't have much of a clue when it comes to actually fabbing and spinning wrenches. Awesome job!

I think I spoke to you back in 2005 or 6 when I was doing my Cuda.I don't know if you remember the 5.7 hemi running off LS1 electronics, that was during XV's infancy.Wasn't alot avalible for the new Hemi's back then, really love how XV stepped up.Ron

Got a wild hair and cut thr drip rails off tonight.I'm probably stupid for starting this so late in the game, but its the last part on the car that still had rust in it.This is turning out way nicer a car then I originally planned, and it didn't cost anything but time.Georgia is right around the corner Tic-Toc. The shaved drip rails are really going to fit with the rest of the car. I am amazed that the car is getting so close to being finished. I don't know what I will follow so closely when you are through with this one.

I just formed a peice or roundbar and welded it in there, getting the exact contour is kind of tough though. These gutters were like swiss cheese anyway, and it sure looks alot smoother with them gone.I really need to get moving, picked up the paint and the tags today, and I'm no where close to needing either one of them. I just started following this project, I really like it. Since im a ford guy im not liking the LS motor. But to get that performance for the budjet you set is amazing. good job. If you ever make a fiberglass quater panel of front fenders with your flares let me know.

Started the body work this weekend, have the drip rail smoothed out,and the one quarter roughed in.This is going to be a quick and dirty paint job.Man are those rust pits in the roof deep,I can still see the disco stripes thru the third sand and primer, that roof has been sandblasted!!The color is going to be 2010 Mustang Grabber blue, with the flat black treatment on the hood and fenders.Ron
