Was just checking out your build today. I really dig the bike rack! Never seen that before. Very functional & tastefully done.

Also, Nice color & wheel choice. I don't like to add pics of my project to other people's threads, but in this case I could not resist. I think we have similar taste!

      Good Morning,

The guys at Kenny Davis Hot Rods are ready for the motor. Time to ship it to one of
      Kenny's new body shops.

It looks like my Dad needs a vacation from all the rain here in Chicago.

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is the subframe is complete
and ready to go back under the car. The bad news is Kenny's taking pictures and it get's
      worse he's using an iPhone......

      marty,

Those steering arms look weird for a front steer setup. What spindles are you using?

Thanks...Here is the list. It's been a total time suck and money pit, but in the end it is always worth it. Can't buy the feeling you get from driving something you built from scratch with your own hands.

      LS1 (5.3l heads, 224 Cam)/T56/3.73 gears
DSE mini tub, quadra link, sub frame connectors, upper a-arms, fuel tank
      Hotchkis Handle Bars
Kore3/C5 brakes (14" hybrid up front, 13" rear)
Steering box rebuilt by Lee Manufacturing (12:1, Protouring valving)
      Billet Specialties Dagger G wheels (18x8 & 18x12)
Body is stock, mostly driven on the street (I'm at just over 16k miles)
Paint by Reiss Racing (Escondido, CA)
And the most important ingredient of all...TLC.

Yes they are weird looking and no they didn't work with the Ride-Tech Suspension and the full weight of the motor. So the drop spindles came off the car and the stock one's went back on.

ps anyone need a set of drop spindles ( Free if your local )

      www.2ndchancecamaro.com

      Good Afternoon,

The guys started running the brake lines under the car and it looks like Kenny test fitted the seats.

Yes we powdered coated the Tiger Cage, sorry Bret. The funny part was it was already in the car and Kenny had to pull it back out
to powder coat it red. I bet Kenny called me a few names.

Here is a picture of the fenders going on so we could test fit the new GoodMark Industries hood. (Sorry about the picture Quality)

GoodMark was kind enough to take care of us on the Syborg project and in my world if someone takes care of you, you stand by there
side. So we purchased a new 2" steel cowl hood from them and the fit was spot on. We couldn't be happier. Scroll back up to see how
it looks on the car or wait till tomorrow and I will do another post with the hood on the car.

      Good Afternoon,

The front end is going together and Kenny is test fitting the Anvil Closeout panel.

Not really liking the stock inner fenders. So we ordered up a set of Carbon/Fiberglass one's from Anvil.

Kenny installed the Fesler Trunk Hinge kit and said it fit perfect.

2013 08-16 2nd Chance Camaro -Ring Brothers Hood Hinges

Kenny and I agreed that the stock hinges needed to be upgraded. A quick call to the
good people at the Ring Brothers and a new set of hinges were on there way.

Kenny wanted to come up with something different to mount the radiator and when you see it finished it looks perfect.

Kenny dropped the DSE closeout at his buddy's to have it water transferred. The goal is to match some of the carbon fiber that will be
      in the engine bay.

      Good Morning,

Our goal is to add as many little details to the engine bay as possible without breaking the bank. Kenny suggested we pick up

      Good Morning,

The guys at Kenny Davis Hot Rods Installed the Anvil Carbon Fiber Inner Fenders. These inner fenders will allow us to run larger front
tires when we upgrade the chassis and wheels & tires combo down the road.

      Good Morning,

We wanted to do something different with guage's in the car and now that Autometer has there custom shop we could do exactly that.

Head on over to Homepage | Auto Meter Custom Shop and you can build your guage's exactly the way you want them.

Now I need to order the Anvil Carbon Fiber dash insert.
