The sticky bits for the front arrived today. The rears are about 3 weeks out. Glad I'm not in a hurry.

Stopped by the shop this morning to check progress. They have been trying to get another customers 72' C10 finished for a 4th of July Parade, so not much has been done to mine. One custom thing that we are doing to my GTO is "tucking" the rear bumper, and painting it body color. They removed the bumper bolts, and welded the bracket to the bumper, and then welded up the visible bolt holes, and the jack slots.

      IMHO:

Anyone that knows me knows I don't like black wheels... HOWEVER, THIS THING LOOKS PERFECT WITH THEM!
Lastly, if, when you finish your ride folks tell you "that looks like a Foose car", it is quite an honor! Just make it YOUR dream machine. Then it will be perfect.......

Went by to check on this weeks progress. He got the hood on and the gaps cleaned up on the panels.Right now he is fixing all of the dings, and dents that seem to be all over this car. I also got another rendering in. It will need some tweaking, because the artist has it sitting too low, the wrong mirrors, and he has the rear spoiler on it, which I am not putting on mine.

Got word that my Lee 670 box will be on my door step next week!!!! My 295/35-18 BFG Rivals have been delayed a couple of weeks, and no telling when my wheels are going to be here. Things are slowly starting to arrive.

Pictures from today's visit. They are pretty close to being done with all of the panel alignments, and are in the middle of fitting the front bumper. When they get done with this, they will sand it 1 more time to remove the last of the filler that needs to be removed. They will then prime it, and block sand it. When the block sanding is done, then they will prime it again, and then let it sit so that that the primer can settle and shrink. After the primer sits, and shrinks then they will wet sand it before they paint it.

No worries man. It's your car. Do what you think that makes you happy. The car will look great either way.

Like it, getting closer But the back gives me an Olds 442 vibe due to the rear fender schema. the 442's have a pretty large bulgy fender where the GTO' et all don't

She's got her first coat of primer. Next step is to block sand, and then a final coat of primer.

The rear bumper is going to be painted body color also
