I am used to working on F100s and they have a factory brace that functions the same. Also makes up part of the steering column mount. Hope the link works. http://www.fordification.com/tech/im...brackets01.jpg

I played around some more on the firewall, I have to add a angle in these corners to be able to pull the trans and fit around the valve-covers

Yet a little more progress on the firewall, it seems never ending
I made these to go over the frame rails, since I moved the fire wall back I had a gap between the frame rail and the firewall

This is how the firewall looks under the dash, I hoping the wipers will still fit, and I should be able to fit a AC/Heater combo up in there.

      Wheel and tire specs?
      1965 Falcon Hardtop

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

CCW classics, they are a 3 piece wheel. I had them powder coated in satin pewter. The front are 17x8 with 5" of backspacing and weigh 22 pounds each, and the rears are 17x11.5 with 6" of backspacing, I forgot to weigh the rears before they were mounted on the tires.
I went with Nitto 555's 245/45/17 on the front with 315/35/17 on the rear

Very nice, I am running roughly the same specs only in an 18" wheel. I am a bit suprised at the weight of the fronts, I always considered CCW's a light weight wheel.

Thank you, I dig the wheels on yours, I tried to get a set of NewGen Mini lites but they never answered any calls or messages, so went with these, they have always been one of my favorite styles. I was surprised myself by the weight.
