Well I've been working on the firewall for the last few weeks. It's only taken me about 24 hours actual time. Just been confused as to what exactly I want! I have to keep telling myself that I'm not building a piano! Here's what I started with after some grinding.


Then I ran into this patch panel and this is where the problems started. Do I fill it? If I do, why not smooth the entire firewall? Then I told myself, I'm not building a show car!


After some primer and some Eastwood Underhood Black, this is what I came up with. No sanding between coats... I'm not building a show car. And it looks a helluva lot better than when I started.


Then I was able to roll the subframe back in underneath. I feel so much better that I finally completed this part. Solid bushings installed as well!
