Thank you Wayne. She's getting there. Maybe have some more "color" pics tonight!
I like your plate. I might have to steal a version of it!

Your welcome to it. I first saw FNFAST on BMW with a hot blond driving with the top down. We can thank her. I'll be watching for more pictures.

Here are the pics I was mentioning. I decided I was going to paint the remainder of the panels that were off of the car before going to work yesterday. It was a beautiful day for painting. Low 80's! When I did the first painting it was well over 100! That was not fun.
      Here everything is in primer...

      I sealed everything in white...

You'll notice here that the valance is still white! On the second coat I noticed some bodywork that needed to be finished! I can't believe I missed that when I was wiping it all down...

Outside baking some more! I'm all about natural energy!

Hopefully I have the body and doors ready by Monday! Only two weeeks left...

Thanks Colin. I'm getting a lot of compliments on the color! The most important one is the wife. She's liking it the more she sees it. Almost there... hopefully by the end of this weekend!

HEY Rob i just read your build. Looks like you are killing it right now. Good luck on getting the car done. You still have some time left to finish. Hope to see your car in Reno soon.

Nice project man! I really get a kick out of home garage projects.
Something I can relate to: "I did it all myself", or course with
a few good friends' help, and maybe some beer....

Thank you! That's what I'm proud of saying, " I did it myself in a two car garage... dirty two car garage!" Beer? Here's proof in the background!

Took the paper off of her...

I went for a walk to the gate and decided to take a pic from a distance. I don't think she'll be missed driving down the road!

Color compliment #327 checking in. Looks great. When I go back upstairs I will have an orange creamsicle in honor of the occasion... unless all the orange are gone, then you have to settle for lime or maybe root beer but I am good with that too.
In any case, congrats on the milestones.
I thought you weren't going to paint with your good wheels on? Did you swap before rolling out on the driveway?

Thanks Robert. Unfortunately I couldn't put the old wheels on because of the new brakes! But not to worry, nothing was harmed in the making!

Thanks TC. Yes I had decided on the color after a few Hot August Nights. Then I saw Brian's car and was sold. So was the wife!
