Im looking to buy a quality radiator on monday. I want some nice thin spal fans also. The entropy radiator fans are too big and I'm not changing fender braces.

I love the quality of a prc unit so it needs to look something like that.

Who has what and wants to sell me one?

Why don't we do a Mattsons? I have been selling them for almost 10 years now, they are custom built to your specs if you want. They come natural or polished. They have a great aluminum shroud. They build a lot of LS swap rads too.

      Let me know
      Thanks

      Some TIPS and Thoughts

      Exhaust
So i bought a dynatech 2.5" exhaust. I think it was their muscle max. The fit is amazing. I love the x pipe design and it tucks nicely. I used them with my stainless works headers. the two pipes that connect the mid pipe to the headers have enough length in them to give you the proper width that you need. I took rought a 1/2" off the long part of those two pipes so they lined up with my headers. Next up i wanted to get with front and rear depth right. After loosely hanging the exhaust i saw that i had plenty of room to reach the mufflers. Actually about 8" longer than i needed. knowing this i cut the two front pipe that connected to my headers about 4 to 5" shorter to suck the x-pipe closer to my trans crossmember. Once that was squared away i went to the rear of the x-pipe. I laid my mufflers where i wanted them and cut 5 or 6" off of the back of the x-pipe.

From the headers back to the end of the mufflers its perfect. Killer deal for what i paid off of jegs. next up is the tail pipes. I think i can angle slice the exhaust tips enough to bend them the way i want them for my quadralink. Overall I'm beyond happy with the fitment and love the stainless steel.

      Shifter/ Transmission
Next up was my finch billet shifter ring. On a t56 magnum the shifter ring will not be sitting straight on the tunnel. its actually closer to the driver. Don't go too far forward with the boot or when you drop the shifter into second it will stress the boot. My advice is to put the inside edge of the ring to the outside of the shifter plate bolts facing the front. Make sure you have it over far enough to the left so the side bolt on the t56 shifter doesn't hit the ring. Overall beautiful piece of work.

Its much easier to install the bell housing to engine and then install the transmission than it is to install the bell housing already attached to the transmission. Cost me a engine block :( Its all good and taken care of now

The t56 magnum shifter handle thread is a 3/8s fine thread or 3/8 x 24. If using a lokar shifter your going to have to get button head screws.

Chassisworks t56 tunnel made things a lot easier. I placed the rear of the transmission exactly where i wanted first and then cut toward the firewall. I left about 3" or so that went under the tunnel and sliced the firewall area in sections. Using self tapping screws i then sucked the tunnel and firewall together making a smooth transition. Once i got them as close as i could i took a hammer and fun tunes the tunnel to the firewall. once you are happy with that take a saw and cut a straight line from one side to the other on the front and the overlapping pieces will fall off. Weld together, seem seal and done.

      Catch can
Elite engineering makes a nice ls3 catch can. If using the quick ac brackets you can mount the catch can low where a stock AC compressor would be. Flip the bracket upside down and use the hole on the side of the head and bolt it to there.

Starter to work with a ls3. Best deal was on amazon

Use these to make sure your 2 heater lines and 2 ac lines don't rub the inner fender creating a cut. The one has two different size holes and thats because the AC lines are two different sizes

      Eddie motorsports steering wheel
Love love love the style. My only complaint is theres dirty in the paint. quality control could be little better

      Fuel
Russell 644123 fitting connects to the ls3 fuel rail and the vapor works fuel pump nipple. Instead of a plastic clip on style that i heard leaks this screws together. Its cheaper then most and the quality is excellent.
      http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/644123/10002/-1

My fuel system comes from tank to russell 644123, -6an to -6an house 45 degree, hose, -6 an hose to -6an, factor 3/8 fuel line adapted with a 3/8 fuel line to -6an nut, fuel line runs to the front of the car, over the subframe connected with billet specialties 3/8 line clips, bent to come out by the tunnel, -6an nut, -6an to -6an house 45 degree, hose, -6an hose to -6an, and then holly billet fuel rail kit.

Still have my seats and headliner to complete as well as wiring. The car is coming along very nicely.

Only big purchases are the following:
      - PRC radiator
      - Vintage air without compressor
      - Driveshaft
      - Get seats redone in leather. I bought a pair of recaro ls seats. They came with sliders that i will be easier able to adapt to my seat pans to keep the seats nice and low. The pair of seats and rails were only $250. I thought it was a killer deal. Wrapped in leather AHHHHH so sweet

Finalize my seat mounting this sat

Start finalizing everything. Example. all brake lines are made but i need to connect the pedal assembly to the rod and make sure i don't have any leaks. I need to finalize sections on the build so i don't have to worry about them again.

Tomorrow I'm going to give prc a call and order my radiator.

On a brand new 480hp GM ls3 should i just use normal oil or use break in oil? I was looking at joe gibbs br30. What are your thoughts or just run mobile one out of the gate?

I also spoke to dse today and they use joe gibbs differential break in oil for their rear ends. After that they switch to 75-90 synthetic driven diff oil.

Very Nice! That looks like the one I got used from Todd off Payback, for my car. They make a great looking radiator. It kept his hard charging big block Chevy motor cool.
