Im at work on a saturday. So no working on the car today.



But I have been semi productive. Im working on design for a new rear suspension on the 65 mustang.

Well, to fit the BBF it was pretty much the most proven and easiest way to do things. They still do work well for what they are.

Also, this will be more of a straight line/weekend cruise car, definitely not pro-touring.

Very true. The MII will work as a street drag setup. Are you planning on andding any extra bracing to the front frame since you removed the shock towers?

Yeah, would like some roll bar extension from the firewall to the front frame rail, but under the fender so you can't see them in the engine bay.

So I bought my first house. The wife and I moved in last week. I epoxied the garage floor gloss gray without the flake. Luckily the house was move in ready. I will post some pictures this weekend with the falcon sitting in the garage on the new floor.

Yep, but i still dont think it will be my shop. I will probably have to go back to my dads house/garage for the near future. I cant afford to duplicate all the tools we have collected over the years. At least he is only 2.5 miles away from me. But my cars can all be IN the garage now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're lucky. I wish my Dad lived so close. We spend what seems like hours a day talking cars on the phone and how great it would be if he lived close enough we could work on them together. He's a truck driver so occasionally he gets to stop by and wrench with me for a day. Congrats and enjoy.

Yep, Im lucky. We do all the building at his house. we have done 4 cars together now.

so the house has been taking all my time. Falcon has been driven and thats it. But my next project will be the new rear suspension for the 65 mustang. It will be a bolt in 4-link with great anti-squat for drag racing, completly adjustable with a longer SVSA length than any system currently on the market. i will also be running a watts link and huge rear sway bar.

The huge bar to keep it launching straight? do you need that with a 4-link if it cancels the driveshaft torque?

Yes, It will give me one more tuning feature, makes the set up more adjustable.

Lots of room, but my mustang and dakota live in there and take up all the room for tools. The falcon has another location for storage.
