There does seem to be a C-C.com flavor leaking over recently.

No, we're just enforcing the rules. Too many political posts of late.
Cleaning up the board is our job. If we let it get out of control, it will. And then everyone loses.

This board gets out of control faster than any I have ever seen. They are doing a great job. I'd ban a few of these trolls but that's just me. LOL

      Bad day?

Not at all. There are a lot of things going wrong in the world, many of them frustrate me, some infuriate me. But none of it impacts my level of happiness. I have a beautiful wife that loves me. I have a great house in a really nice neighborhood. And, I've worked my tail off and earned myself a great job that pays well (though I do work my butt off and in fact I'm at work right now but it's worth it).

As Tony said, we're just doing a little cleaning up around here.

Yeah, the GM thing and how it is perceived by the members ends up becoming political (and even religious). It almost always goes bad after that.

Maybe the grammar and spelling lessons could be better handled in a PM instead of on the forum...

The grammar and spelling is a difficult issue. I find myself skipping over poorly-written posts.

      I can't read bad grammar. I'm reminded of Sammy Hagar's "I can't drive 55".

Spell check is embedded in firefox, the return key is not far away and it takes very little time and effort to construct a readable sentence.

Firefox makes all the text funky, almost dot matirx like. I tried to adjust the text size, but no help. Any advice?

This board doesn't really get out of control that fast.
I've never had a problem with a thread getting out of hand on this Forum.
The members , posters , and moderators here are always friendly , mature , and helpful.

Really? Every post I've made on this board in the last year has been via Firefox. The fonts in our respective posts look the same.

Do you mean the appearance of the font on your screen?

Try playing with you character encoding. Mine is in Western (ISO-8859-1)
