G code Lathe help with Radius

I asked a guy that did contract work for NASA the same question about square stock to round once. He told me" Boy I can make square stock round on a lathe and round stock square on a mill but do you realy want to pay me for the time..lol

x2 we have done it at work but only for things that have to have square and round portions. you usually use a 4 jaw chuck and indicate it in. just takes time.
