we are going to be repainting the GTO sometime and don't want to do the Solar red

I'm thinking of GM Torch Red or GM Victory Red

but I like the shade you have

That's funny. A good buddy of mine always says "You can paint the car whatever color you want... as long as it's black when you're finished"

Code Red -- It was painted Dodge Viper Red. Funny thing is that I was also considering Torch and Victory Red too. Oh well good luck with your choice.

Dan -- Too bad your buddy didn't advise me. Then I would be assembling instead of stripping paint.

It'll be quite awhile before any paint gets put down.

Here are a couple pics of the red being stripped off. Used razor blades to take most of the red off and then sanded down to the primer for now. I'll strip it all down and epoxy primer it til the painter can take it in.
Wish we had someone that did media blasting in Hawaii.
