quitting one job before you have another income is piss poor planning. the camaro $$$$$ may run out before you have the other job lined up.

Whatever the situation is, it must be enough for him to give up his car to get-r-done.

I vote to find a friends house to store the car, and fine something to keep finances in check, until the other stuff comes through, so you can keep the car....

Well like backtobasics said, its THAT bad. I dont want to sell the car, but its my only thing of value right now. I'm going to install the nitrous this weekend.

youll be making a HUGE mistake selling the car..

throw it behind a friends house or familys..

and when you get back on your feet you wont be starting all over..

BELIEVE me.. ive been there.. starting over sucks so bad.. but starting over still owning your ride aint so bad at all.

I still hope you can work this out.
Starting fresh sucks, admitted. But storing the car at a friends house, and living Poor, Mac and cheese, and working your butt off, will eventuall dig out of the situation, and later on, when your finances are fixed, relationship is fixed or gone, you can come back to your car that is x% finished (insert here) and ready to enjoy. Get a beater honda, live in a little apartment (or super at a complex for free rent) and start digging out.

Don't sell the car. Ever. You have an awesome project. I sold my first real car ('66 corvair). I had to buy another one when I got some money...and yes...start over. It is way better to keep at least one thing that makes you happy. Work at some podunk place until work materializes. It's not worth selling your pride and joy.

Things are getting better but not promising. Thanks for all the advice. I'm starting to think if I should pull out of the idea of selling. :scratches head:

Keep it! Store it and get yourself back to a place (mentally) where you can start again. It's a great project and a lot of people around here to help and give support.

Well, I still have it, thats the good thing. The storage is getting harder for me to pay though. I'm still on the border of selling it and buying a car thats more ecomnomical for my needs. I cant afford the insurance on both of my cars and the GAS!!

X10 on dont sell your car. IF it means as much as it seems youll hate yourself for it till the day you die.

Decisions/situations like these in life are abundant and the short and long term ramafications to how you stand at the crossroads will define you forever. So your life sucks right now and you have some $$ troubles. Welcome to earth. Sucking it up and standing strong in whatever storm your facing now will make you better equipped to stand strong when you really have something at stake.

It could be holding onto your home you provide for your wife and kids when times are tough, standing with a friend while they lose a loved one, sticking up for whats right even if it means taking a beating.

Too many people these days just give up because they never stood in a storm long enough to see the sunlite at the end. Define your character now! Be someone who others look up to and teach them how to face a storm. Dont give up on a dream just because you hit a few bumps.

Nobody here wants to see you quit because most of us understand that the odds of you starting over on THIS dream will probley never happen. Stay the course. You will see the sunlite again.

Took a vid of the car today, I'm seriously rethinking about selling it. It felt good to hear it rumble like that. But who knows. lol Thanks for all the positive messages and comments guys. I've got things under control now but this car is a money hole and I need something a little more economical! lol
