Just got a few boxes in from the UPS guy and I'm getting cranked up to finish it already! I'm hoping for it to be out of the shop by Monday or Tuesday.

I took some pics with my phone the other day. Sorry for the crappy quality but thats all I had at the moment. This comming monday the stripes go on, then the clear coat.

Yeah, the pictures suck. lol In person, the paint/color looks great. I'm real happy with the color, its perfect. I need to get some pics with a better pixel resolution. But these were just to give you a heads up with my progress.

Dont try and study stills from the movie as a source for the color, the lighting and filters and post production stuff really changes the colors on stuff.

Today I got a call the stripes went up but he had some problems. He's going to redo them, looks like the lines bled a little. But here's what it looked like as of today.

I meant the pictures quality! lol The car looks awesome in person. I'm a picky dude and it looks great. But the pics make me feel like it looks ugly. I dont know maybe its just me. lol

nice progress man the stripes look good from what i can see. If your not happy with the picture quality get a tripod or a better camera

I know, My stripes had to be a lil wider because of the taller hood. I wanted to get a smaller hood but my intake mani and filter would touch the hood if I did. Also the front points are a little sharper. Good eye!

If your not happy with the picture quality get a tripod or a better camera

Thats at the top of my list when I'm done! Right now I've been using my camera phone. lol =Me

Are you going to paint it so that it looks all rusty & scatched up like the movie car?

I thought about it, but I dont want to do it wrong. Plus I spendng all this money on a nice paint job would make me feel like I'm throwing it away. Know what I mean?
