Nice car, the color suits it perfect. if you want to modify the bumpers why dont you buy a set of fiberglass bumpers? Fiberglass is easy to work with.
Why didn't you remove the door handels and position lights when painting it?

Awsome project. I bet the car is gonna look killer when done. Now you just need to rig up a few servos to the gas, brakes and steering so you can drive the car and not be in it. That would be a sight to see at a car show...

I want to moddify the bumpers but I dont want to loose the look of the big steel ones. I might just tuck them back once I get some time. Perhaps this winter?

I think that was a reference to the movie when the very hot Megan Fox commented about the "double pumper" carb (that was not there).

The car was supposed to have a real scoggin dickey nascar type motor according to the script. But someone thought the injection system looked more high tech. For what it's worth the engine with the injection system wasn't actually in the car when Megan was looking into it for that scene. It really *did* have a double pumper in it. The cool fake motor was added in post production.

Well, things turned out for the worse in my life in the past few days and I have to get rid of the car. I'm thinking on moving away down south until the BP calls me for the job. The thing is I dont know how much I should ask for my car. I've invested almost my whole years salery into it PLUS what I paid for the car. Can I get some HONEST opinions on what I should ask for it? Price wise and I need real answers.

      Thanks, I appreicated it.

I guess I will offer first.

Even with it in the striking color, and the recent exposure from the Movie, I doubt you will get in the 20's for it. (I am guessing 20K + salary plus purchase price)

I believe your best bet would be premium pictures, along with an Ebay auction. You will reach more people, especially Transformer fans, this way. I don't know off hand what you have for drivetrain, etc, so I am going to venture a realistic selling price in the low to mid teens?

Sorry to hear about the life changes, I hope things get better!

No, I own the car. I'm quiting my job because of some personal issues within my relationship and I'm waiting for the Border Partol to call me for my 5 months training. I got the job but my background investigation is pending. I'm clean, its just a matter of time. I figure sell the car, chill for a few months until they call, (which they will, I've been assured of that) and use the money for the moving when that time comes. I just need to get out of town soon.
