Well, not really. The only unmolested parts are the Poncho badge and the roof.

Yup. I didn't include a link because I'm sure it can be found in at least one other thread. For fun, start on page ten and work your way back to page one. It starts out as all super clean DSE builds, but as you work forward, it takes a turn towards the dark side. There's a ton of aggressive details throughout.

Correct. I guess I should have said it started out as a real GTO. It's not a Tempest with GTO badges.

man it has been a while since i've been here. my duster is all streetfighter, i have no time for comfort i just wanna rip faces off. full cage, coming along nicely but very slow. finally decided that it has to have hard mounted aluminum seats, i was wavering. if i insist on that joes racing products wheel, i better it is in my closet, anyways you need a nascar style column which then mandates solid seats and harnesses. blah, blah. so it has progressed from lexus nice pt to balls out killer. but it has been a safety thing, like i said i wanted cushy and modern, but wanted certain items for safety and a vibe which then dictates more required items. it has been an expensive process. i have bought parts that satisfied the lust only to later realize they are not safe, anyone want some fully moveable ricer seats? hahaha. so it has morphed into full blown circle track vibe with no compromises. someone on the first page mentioned a valiant with a nuke gm license plate. that is one famous mopar, it belongs to an editor of mopar action magazine, it is simple and cheap, and just brutal. it has shown many a "better" car a thing or two. it has done very well in the one lap, a few times. i have ripped off all kinds of ideas from that car. Ok, I like this Streetfighter thing and no funds to finish the shiny car. So would my 81 Z28 project Black Dog fit the Streetfighter bill? I have three engines to choose from 70's 350 4 bolt, 68 396, or 88 350 TPI.

      I totally agree!
The colors weren't for me but the rest of the car more than made up for that.

I saw a car very similar to that at the Des Moines, Goodguys show, but it had some really big brake disks and was a bright metallic green. Pretty cool car although the color made me cringe a little.

For my money, this might just be the most bitchin' street rod I've ever laid eyes on.
