This should be an interesting project! Keep up the good work. The pics of the nose with the projectors favored the new Camaro when I first glanced at it... very 'nasty' looking !

      Those headlights kick a$$!!

Looking pretty wild! That thing in jet black would be just insane, especially with those CCW wheels.

That looks badass. I think I would do gloss black on the louvers though and not red.

I just threw some color on it to show the louvers.Nothing is in stone yet on the paint. It will get painted a color (not sure on it yet). The flat black will go away too on down the road.

I still have to refab the spoilers and set them to the shape of the front and still flow air rite.I might do a grill or grills after that if needed. When I get there I might throw a few things out on it for some input! Thanks.

well, I wasn't quite feeling it until I saw the shot w/ the top down. I'm starting to get your concept.
the '70s vettes had the curse of wicked factory styling coupled w/ bad pcyhedelia/disco/IMSA/show car ideas. seems no one was happy w/ a vette back then until they flared it, jacked it up, and put an L88 hood on it. that being said, you are taking your idea of how to do a bad 70s custom the RIGHT way. it's cool, as long as you take it all the way, and I think you can/will.
(some said they think that the 3rd gen vettes are the worst, but I just LOVE the '68-'72s, esp an LT1 '70 ragtop. the '73 mishmash leaves me cold, the '74/'75 are a little better, it all went down hill from there).

I agree,There was some weird vettes that came out of the 70's.My 71 was one of them!I could not tell that it was a 71 by looking.Someone had even replaced the eggcrates with laterstyle vents, removed the bumpers put an ugly square nose on it and flap style flares, ect,.It's a shame too cause it was a BB 4spd.(All long gone!)I like the 68-72 the best,as c-3's go.This vette is more of a modernized road racer of the day.(greenwood, ect,)Although it is very custom it all has a function to it.It will be driven daily, and has allways been.It set's on C-4 Z-51 suspension and drives and handles very well.

      Vette

Great job on taking a vision and following through with it. When I build my cars I can see them before they are done. I have learned during the process only a select few can see what I see. Constructive critism is good when the intent is to improve upon.
I see where your going so keep up the good work man !
