Finally a roller!!! Thanks Jakes Rod Shop

I am just going to start a new post on my build instead of adding on since so much has changed with the build. Since RTTH last year I have gotten to know Jake fairly well, and when my project stalled and I couldn’t find the will to carry on with it any longer, Jake stepped in and coordinated with my wife to have the car sent to his shop in Maine. That was the first step in me finding the want-to that allowed me to move forward with the project. As some already know it is a Morrison MaxG with a 3-link rear. The wheels are Rushforth Super Spoke 18x10 and 19x12. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston with 14" rotors front, and for the rear we went with Wilwood 4 piston with 14" rotors with an integral mounted parking brake. Jake and his crew built an entire custom core support to tie the front together, and for some added support. I started with a basketcase and although there is still a long way to go, we are moving forward so it feels great to say the least. I cant say enough how good the JRS guys have treated me either, I was there for 7 days last week on a sort of working vacation because I wanted a hand (albiet very small) in helping to build my car. They handled my newbie questions, beginner mistakes, and my ADD very well. LOL So I owe a big Thank You to Jake, Kelly, and the entire crew of Yankees working on my car, but the biggest thanks has to go to my wife Stephanie for not letting me throw in the towel and saying screw it. And now onto what everyone really cares about anyway the pictures. Jake also has a lot of pictures he may put on here as well.

Jay, it was good to have you help out, its refreshing to see someone so excited that they actually throw a seat in a car with no floors and make vroom vroom sounds with a shiit eating grin, if i only had pics...lol seriously guys, jays car is gonna be sick when finished, he has tons of good styling ideas that we will be incorporating.
I will put some more pics up in the next day or two of the arrival thru to date pics.

Nice project that is going to have some killer results. Sometimes we need a little push from the women folk to scoot us along. My wife has encouraged me a lot throughout the years when I wanted to call it quits on a project.

      Looks Great!

I saw this in progress when I was up to Jake's a few weeks ago. Looks even more angry in person. That tin work is beyond reproach. I love eye-humping everything in that shop.

I was kind of hoping to see my '67 in the background!
